Texts will depend on your phone. My husband and I have Galaxy Notes (he has a 9 and I have a 20 ultra) and can send and receive texts and calls through wifi. Just make sure you are always in airplane mode, then enable wifi. If you're like my family and use Facebook messenger for group chatting, that will also work for wifi messaging.

2024 to Alaska! Last cruise was 2008. Questions....

We did a Princess Alaska cruise last year for our delayed honeymoon. We booked an aft balcony and used a cruise site travel agent who marked our cabin as no upgrades. Our ship ended up changing and the room category we booked didn't exist on the bigger ship so we had to pay additional to get our aft balcony back but did end up with a larger balcony. The aft cabin was a great choice. -

It's been a while since my last Carnival cruise (and we had a party of 8 on the last one) - if you select a dining time can you choose to have a private table or are you still seated with others in the MDR?

Do the 4k obstructed view interior rooms still have french doors that open into the room or are they windows? The description says doors but videos of similar rooms say they are windows now. Specifically looking for information on cabin 4155.
