Our new room looks to be more midship than aft, but still ocean view balcony, same deck, and $200 less. Overall, I can't complain.

My hobby this past year has been booking, cancelling, booking again. I am now out of calendar time and waiting anxiously for 2023 schedules. Really, really hoping that by July 2021 the world will get its act together regarding vaccines and masks.
-
I felt like you do. I like the smaller ships and was afraid that on the huge ones, it would be too crowded. Then we tried Symphony and loved it. So take the plunge.

Absolutely. We booked the same itinerary and an aft cabin for January 2020. Love the idea of visiting Tortola and Punta Cana. I will also qualify for my crystal block! Cannot wait.
-
No problems with that strategy at all.

Even if you don't like the port, you have 365 beaches to sample. We tried Frye beach. Lovely and would love to get back and discover more.

Our first cruise was on Sovereign right after Royal "stretched" it. Earned us a 1 whole cruise point. We took it because we were doing a Serenade Alaska cruise and I wanted to be able to go to the past cruiser event. Now I'm addicted, of course.

Savory bites; bran muffins; muesli cups; I used to love the bay scallops au gratin, but I don't think this dish is on the new menus.

How funny. The day we were in Costa Maya, it poured rain and we were "forced" to spend our time in that same tequila bar. Your are really making me wish I were on the Symphony again.

Your photos are so awesome, I don't think I can wait to revisit Symphony until 4/2021. I wanted to get my crystal block on her, but, sadly it didn't work out. Thanks for sharing.

Great tapas restaurant right next to Senor Frog's. Sorry I don't remember its name.

We took this same itinerary on Symphony this past January. Loved it, loved it, loved it. Sol y Mar is a great beach. As you walk into the beach, go to the furthest right to the "coffee" shop. Great sangria and food. Would love to be going with you, but guess I will try to be satisfied by your live report.

Thank you! The photos are great. We are sailing on the Majesty in a little over 20 days -- the 4 night Havana and Nassau. Now I am more than excited.

We took the cruise to the Pitons, booked through Royal, and it was absolutely fabulous.

We just returned from a cruise where we had a "regular" size balcony, and my husband finally understands how size matters.

We were supposed to be on this cruise, but something came up and had to cancel. Too bad for all the passengers looking forward to the Canaries. May you use your refundable OBC and cruise credit towards another wonderful experience.

I have a friend who is taking her second cruise on Majesty. Her first was 25 years ago on that same ship. She was able to find her photo album from that cruise, contacted C&A and is now a Gold cruiser with one cruise point.

Usually it's for the itinerary and timing (still working darn it). However, the most recent booking was due to the room! Seriously, I was just looking to see what one of those suites everyone talks about would cost, and though, that isn't what I booked, I did get an aft. We are now bound for Hong Kong to sail Spectrum. Very exotic for us.

I would not hesitate to book this tour again. You really get to see the whole island. It is a "party" bus in the sense that the drivers make sure everyone is entertained. The beach was lovely and all in all I felt it was worth the money.

I watched "Like Father" yesterday and really enjoyed it. It satisfied my cruise craving. Of course. one had to put aside the questions of how did either of them get on the ship, how did they set up their cruise account, and how did they get their passports. Obviously, they had the drink package :) Fun, fun movie.

The top tier party will soon be on its way out due to lack of interest. Just off Majesty yesterday and 291 people were invited. About 30 people showed up. It's scaled way back and is now becoming a waste of time. I'm sure the officers also have better things to do with their time.
I hope this is not true. I always go to the top tier party and usually the room is pretty full. I like hearing about the new promotions and ships as well as the recognition of the most loyal cruisers (knowing that I will never reach that category). I am just a fool for the kitsch.

You are correct. The pizza on Royal isn't very good. Enjoying your experience so far, but can't wait for the unwanted "guest".

My husband would eat every meal at WJ. I prefer MDR, but did find the menu selections sort of boring this last cruise. Food was excellent though. And, of course, on every cruise, our servers have been wonderful.

I might be able to do so if there wasn't an activity named "shopping".

We were supposed to be on this cruise, but chose to cancel due to COVID concerns. Nevertheless, I would love to know how the cruise is going and how everyone is enjoying the ship.
Safe sailing
