  1. We traveled with 16month old twins. Depends on if your baby is a good mapper. My daughter can not nap on the go she needs her crib and a quiet room. Never naps on us or in a stroller, so excursions were out of the question for us.

We did not book any excursions knowing we wanted to be on our own schedule. We took taxi/vans or shuttle buses and wore kids in carriers. I know we should have car seats but honestly we never went further than 10min from cruise port and didn't get on highways. St Maarten has a beach in town or little divi, Puerto Rico we booked a day room at the Hilton, and we were in labadee so just a beach day.

  2. I traveled with 16 month old twins last year on allure of the seas. We did not bring car seats since we had so much stuff to begin with. We took shuttle bus to ship. For excursions we either stayed near the cruise port or took a van or shuttle bus. Our kids took an afternoon nap in the room so we only ever stay on shore for the morning.

  3. Hi

I'm traveling with my family on adventure of the seas this July. We are currently booked in a royal family suite on deck 9. I'm hesitant because we will be with our twin toddlers and I don't like the idea of the balcony railing being bars. I'd feel much safer in two adjoining ocean balconies, but with six people I'd know we'd love the extra space.

Brings me to my question....I've never cruised in a suite before so I wanted to know what amenities are offered on adventure of the seas?

    What freebies are we getting?

  4. Will be traveling on Allure of the seas next week!! :)

The shore excursions we were thinking of are full :(

Need suggestions for shore excursions with 16 month old twins for Puerto Rico and for St. Maarten.

We are only interested in excursions that involved transportation with buses, no taxis since we will not have car seats with us.

In St. Maarten we are avoiding Great Bay(the beach at the port) after reading about pollution issues.

Please let me know of any reputable third party vendors.

    Thanks in advance!

  5. It's my favorite! My husband and I always order breakfast and sit on our balcony. We order eggs, bacon, toast, fruit, cereal, coffee and tea. We tend to do it on port days to save time and skip the windjammer. Also serves as our wake up call! The height on the table doesn't bother us we stack the plates and covers. Just so happy to sit outside enjoying our balcony. After reading other post seems we were fortunate never had an issue with food being cold, very burning hot but not bad considering its room service. Think you need to go in with clear expectations.

This is summer will be our visit cruise as a family! Excited to bring our 16 month old twins! We definitely plan on using room service for breakfast, snacks during nap time and maybe even order some wine to sit on the balcony at night while the kiddos sleep!
