Lunch in Luminae yesterday: Petit Filet Mignon with some fried shrimps as a side dish (little add on from our waiter) and white chocolate mousse.

The accent might not be strong for you but we are not native english speakers so we have to listen very carefully to get everything. 😉

This morning is relaxed. After a little walk on the track we sit on the retreat deck, had a ginger ale and were offered some fruits.

Last night was evening chic and officers soiree in the retreat lounge. We met nice people from California and Amsterdam and decided to have dinner together in Luminae. We enjoyed the evening so much that I totally forgot to take any pictures. Our waiter in Luminae is Alfred who already knows all our preferences. I love macarons and so he gave me a little bag full of them when we left Luminae last night. We then went to the Show, Life. We already knew it from another cruise but nevertheless enjoyed it. After that I still sang along Abba Songs in the grand Foyer and gave a little donation to the Casino .

Last night he said he is from Ireland.

Is in the daily planner again on this cruise. 😉

I heard he is from Wales? Makes it hard for us to understand him through the public adress system...

We had a very stormy night and it's still very rough. I had to take a pill against sea sickness. :-(

We decided last minute to have dinner at Sushi on 5 as the Luminae menu for tonight had nothing on it that I really wanted. We love Sushi and it was sooo good again.

Sailaway finally was somewhen after 5 pm instead of 4 pm. Skies still look scary .

Sailaway is delayed due to a hugh thunderstorm. We were stucked at the sunset bar and got wet as never before.

This is our cabin, a wonderful Sunset corner Sky Suite.

We are onboard and already had a nice Lunch in Luminae. I forgot to take pictures though... Embarkation was kind of weird. The ship docks at pier 19, so it was an old grey and loveless hall where the first 250 passengers were queezed in a corner and not allowed to sit down where you wanted. We arrived at 10:15 and had to wait until 11:10 and then had to board row by row (kind of like in school). We then went to our cabin, dropped off our bags, picked up our seapasses and went to our masterstation.

Finally sailing day! 😀😃🙂 Unfortunately weather forecast predicts rain this afternoon for sailaway...we will see. We booked an Uber for 10:00 as Port Everglades predicted a lot of traffic die to 4 cruise ships in port.

Good morning from Fort Lauderdale. Obviously we left home at the right time; neighbours have sent this a few minutes ago: Although I like snow (in the Wintertime!) I think we have the better view :

We arrived safely after an uneventful flight. 😉 We were through Immigration and baggage claim within 40 min after landing. We never were this fast before when arriving in the US. Our hotel is beachside and it's incredible that we sit at a beach bar now in shorts and flipflops after leaving Germany with cold rain and snow this morning.

We already checked in for tomorrow's flight at 10:40 am. We live only a 30 min drive away from Frankfurt airport so a friend who lives in our neighbourhood gives us a lift to the airport.
