Read an article on the carnival site (addressed to all cruise lines) that cruisers would not be allowed to roam free In ports. Also would have to do ship sponsored excursions. Well so much for the ship being empty on port days.  Also this may make or break people wanting to cruise.

Another reason to buy the booze package. stay by the pool bar and enjoy the drinks. Every day!

i may be wrong, but in order to get the total rewards price you need to book thru casinos at sea. i had done that for years, but now i have an ncl cruise consultant that applies the discount when i call her to book a cruise. also, unless they have changed the program, you get 20% off a cabin up to a suite or haven. booking a suite or a haven suite gives  you 10% off. when y ou go thru casinos at sea, they will ask for your wife's total rewards number

Platinum  is 10% off          Diamond is 20% off        7 star is 30% off of cruise fares.

Plus you get unlimited drinks in the casino when they are open. You do not have to be playing to get them.

If you like diving or snorkeling ABC’s are the best. I could totally do without the Dominican Republic

everybody has their opinion and rightfully so. we had one of the best shore trips in amber cove. it was a beach day with all your drinks and a great meal provided. it was only 75 bucks with your transportation. the tour only had about 30 people there. so it was a quite day and a refreshing day. you never know what you are going to get on any tour.

we are booked on a b2b on the elation in dec. 2021 and booked this tour on both.

Only right.  They were putting the recovery of the whole industry in jeopardy by their actions, and they were warned in advance of the rules.

Rules are only made for everyone but us! That is the thinking for a lot of people.

I enjoy music a lot on cruise ships but when something different is there it can be special.  Can't recall the ship but there were three violinists playing electric funky looking violins that would play sets in the atrium and they were awesome.

Carnival has the violinists on their ships. They are always good. We have seen them on several carnival  ships, but never on ncl.

  7. lets have a little fun. who is your favorite entertainers on the ncl ships?

I have 3 who i think is very good.  the first is Jim Badger. He is a very good piano player and very funny guy. The second is Jamari. Very good guitar player and aslo a very good singer.

the third is the Rock-away duo. they are very good with about every kind of music.

The cruise news has been so discouraging lately.  Two of our cruises have been canceled.  I used to love to watch cruise vloggers, but I can't do it anymore. It's too depressing. I think we are going to wait a while to use our FCC.  I don't want to be disappointed again. I was trying to be optimistic, but this last set back was enough. I'm going to concentrate on our land vacations.  Stepping back....

we just got back yesterday from navarre, fl. for a week. it is a beautiful place. you could not tell that there was a virus around. the beaches was full everyday and the restraunts was busy. hope everyone stays safe. had a great time. there is nothing wrong with a land vacation. good luck everyone.

If they test everyone before boarding and use one of those tests being created that can catch it within the first 24 hours, then people would only need to wear masks while waiting for their test results.  If that is the case, I am fine with it.  Anything beyond that really diminishes the enjoyment of a cruise for many people.

Once on board, I would also not have a problem with daily temperature taking.  Anyone showing any type of symptoms can get tested in the health area.  As long as they stay on top of it, I don't see the virus being a problem.  But no to the mask for me.  I can barely stand wearing one while shopping.

Yes, everybody line up at 10 am and 2 pm to take temperatures. that will be a great cruise!
