Never done this before, but bought it for our Bermuda sailing. Do they call/zoom you or do you call them at the scheduled time? Do you need Zoom or is there another link?

The Good Mrs. Benson and I will be occupying 14778 for our cruise on Joy in September. Other than the tub-shower death-trap, is there anything else you'd care to relate about staying in that suite? We'd certainly appreciate getting any direct knowledge.
I'm in that one too, in May!

We were on the Dawn 12 day Southern Carrib. approx 1 year today.

We had an aft cabin on the Sky. Deck nine is the best , only rooms above and below you. I believe we were next to a suite, starboard side. A nice room.

Most likely has no travel insurance? Also IMHO would not go on a cruise with a child who has a compromised immune system during regular flu season period.

The Hubs and I talked about it last night and came to the conclusion that we would probably be safest on an NCL Caribbean cruise vacation than anywhere else in the world. We had planned on flying to Amsterdam mid March but feel like we would have much more exposure to this virus and would prefer to not be quarantined in a foreign country if we caught the Coronavirus.
We always make an effort to not let unrest, strikes, etc get in the way of our travels but should we avoid the possibility here?
Worst case scenario is that we catch it. I have had the Flu and I have had Pneumonia (not fun at all, either of them) and from what I read, the symptoms fall somewhere in between. I read last night that
Are we crazy? Set us straight if needed or why not book a great trip with us for a great price???
Do not buy into the MEDIA hype of this virus! Where on earth did you read that possibly 75% of us will catch this at some point before it is "said and done", ??

We were on a cruise out of Tampa in January when many if not all got an e mail a couple of days before sailing stating that no one should arrive before noon and that they would be turned away if they did. We were sitting next to a couple that had paid for priority so you can imagine their feelings. Then salt was rubbed in when people on our roll call posted that they had showed up early anyway and were not turned away plus they started boarding at 11.
Debarking was worse as they decided they were not going to honor the color tags and we had people with early flights and yellow tags being held in a waiting area while other colors were called.
Absolutely we had the priority pas on this sailing and got totally screwed. we id use the 50 credits toward massages in the spa.

Suki Mac, I was on this sailing and I foolishly bought the priority pass as well, Here is my experience with it. I stupidly obeyed the email regarding the later boarding time, I had planned on arriving at the port by 10 am o I could take advantage of the earlier boarding. (only silver level here), However got there by 12 and snaked through security(not too bad) and once through checked in and walked right on ship Meanwhile others had all ready boarded. Got the canapes the next day, never used free breakfast room service deal. Hubs and I got 50 minute massages on a port day and we were each given the 50 credit. The worst part of this was getting off the ship. Yellow tags were delivered to our room. Supposed to disembark at 815, After easy walk off, then priority, plats etc. They call light blue tags instead. Rumor was yellow tagged luggage was still on the ship. Finally got called around 845, got shoved through gangway, waited for escalator/elevator got downstairs grabbed a porter and got out. whole process was 45 min . Would I do this again? Probably not especially in Tampa port.

I purchased the water on board. I drink a lot of it and so it was a convenience in my opinion. Water in all restaurants was very good. Never tasted the water in the cabin bathroom.

I had told my PCC that I wanted to check out what was really available on the ship before I committed to the upgrade. My PPC emailed me that: "You are in luck as the Premium Plus is ONLY available to upgrade when you get on board." My cruise is Jan 22, 2020, on the Breakaway.
Well, that does not sound correct, my ncl summary page says upgrade now for the ridiculous price of 417.50 per person (12 day cruise this in 2 weeks).

YUP, it sure did! Wonder what else went up!

Here's another cruiser who had an awful time:
Just off the ship, big disappointment. Staff left alot to be desired, zero customer service, and the worst food I've ever had. Not one hot meal in MDR or buffet.

Do they have them in the thermal spa if you have the pass?
-
Love reading complaints lol. There is a good one on another thread where the poster rips the Bliss apart. Thanksgiving week cruise. What did you expect? No lines??

Can someone please tell me what times the evening shows are usually scheduled. I would like to make dinner reservations for our 4 night cruise to Cuba and don’t want to miss the shows.

All the shows in the Stardust theater were at 9:30 pm

Why?

Sorry if this has been asked before, but where should we wait for an Uber or Lyft once we have all our belongs curbside? Traveling on NCL Sky if that makes a difference. Thanks!

Does anyone know of any hotels that do this near port of Miami?
Hampton Inn Blue Lagoon Miami airport area. This is who we are using in April. There is a free shuttle to the port, leave car at hotel etc. Not sure if shuttle will pick you up at port on the return but will find out soon!

Do not book through the ship. Price is a rip-off. Booked ours through
oldcartours dot com. Add in the 30 CUC extra to have an English speaking tour guide. Worth every dime. We had a phenomenal tour with them and price is PER CAR, not per person like on the ship. We did this just this past December. Enjoy!
This is who we are using for our April cruise. We are doing the 6 hour with English speaking guide. How was your tour?
-
WHAT?WHAT?🙀How did you find out? Say this is not so! We are on the April 9th cruise. We have booked an afternoon tour thru the ship, what happens now?
We are on this sailing too. Received an email yesterday from NCL. They made adjustments to some of their ship sponsored tours, mostly affecting the second day in Havana.

Just of the Sky yesterday, any questions? Loved it!
How did most people dress in the MDR? Shorts, capris, dresses??? I know its pretty casual on the Sky but was curious as to what to pack for my trip!
Did anyone leave the Joy recently WITHOUT COVID?

Yes, May 8th saling and myself and husband were spared. did not wear masks, used elevators, no buffet, went to crowded Cavern Club, theater and comedy in the social. We are in our early sixties. Guess we were lucky.
