I recently snagged FTTF (on 9/3) for our cruise sailing on 12/1, and it's showing on our boarding passes, luggage tags and under the "my billing" tab in the cruise manager. I know it won't show if your final payment hasn't posted. I hope this helps. Good luck!

We've eaten in the steakhouse (definitely worth it!) and ordered a "steakhouse" steak in the MDR. My husband's "steakhouse" steak was so tough and bad he couldn't eat it and it was taken off our bill. Plus it took forever to get it. There's no comparison between the two!

One way you can find out is on Carnival's website, I think. There are very few ships in the fleet that don't have fridges in every cabin. What ship are you sailing on?

We've booked one of the ocean view cabins on the Sunshine without a fridge. Is there anyone who can offer advice on what they used to keep things chilled? Here's my problem: I'd like to surprise my husband with a small birthday cake from the Fun Shops, and the one he'll like has a filling that needs to be kept cold (the leftovers). Any suggestions, short of not ordering the cake or changing cabins--lol? Seriously, is there a good collapsible/packable cooler anyone can recommend? Or is there some other way to go that I haven't thought of? Thanks for your suggestions.

Yes, it's free at lunch. You're seated at a table and are given a pre-printed paper with various options. You mark hour choices-- your protein, your sauce, your veggies, etc. Then someone comes by to collect your paper, and soon your food is delivered.

Quiet Stateroom? Our stateroom was very quiet. We heard nothing from our neighbors or from above. Occasionally we heard and felt some vibrations, but our friends on other decks commented that they heard and felt the same thing.

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No

Any specific problems with this cabin? - None!

Any other comments? - The obstructed view consisted of a platform extending about 20-30 feet from the stern. This only prevented us from looking directly down into the sea. Our beautiful wake view was still completely visible beyond that. We deliberately chose a cabin in the Family Harbor area even though we were traveling without children. It was very roomy and comfortable, had double closets and a large sofa. We loved having the perk of the Family Harbor Lounge available to us for grabbing a very nice breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausages, various cereals, waffles, fruit, pastries, etc., or just cup of coffee in the morning, sandwiches and cookies midday, or a soft swirl and cappuccino in the evening. This cabin was a great choice for us.

Has anybody stayed in a Family Harbor Obstructed Ocean View aft? There's been lots posted about the noise in the FH cabins and suites but I haven't seen anything on the aft cabins. Anybody have any input?

Anybody know if the growlers can be filled/refilled with plain old Miller Lite or does it have to be one of the craft beers?

Does anyone know if it's ok to bring fresh flowers on board? I like having fresh flowers in my cabin, but don't want to pay for a Carnival Fun Shop arrangement. Thanks for your help!

I read somewhere to pack a few balloons. When ready to dry your clothes, blow up the balloon and drape your clothes over it. I haven't tried it, but it just might work!
