Bon Voyage!
Have a good cruise.:)
-
I would think of them as interchangeable; indeed they are all segments of a longer cruise.
Cheers.

I reckon it's around $2.25 USD.

I've always seen an "Interdenominational Service" listing on Sunday mornings during my long cruises...
Cheers.

Great! Thanks everyone for the info.
To "newfarmers" I'll have a look for your review.
Cheers.

Thanks Gwendy!

To OzKiwiJJ, we will be arriving on a Friday and the ship leaves on Sunday... So I've only got that one working day to make it happen! We'll be staying in the CBD (downtown) at Novotel in Brisbane.
I've tried a couple of banks and a currency exchange here in Canada and it was not possible to get the currency.
That would be helpful if Gwendy could post back with some places and telephone numbers for Brisbane. Of course, I could also look it up.
Cheers!:)

Greetings all,
Is it easy to obtain Papua New Guinea currency (Kina) at a bank or exchange in Australia? That is, is it readily available/do they have it on hand? We will be in Brisbane before boarding a ship to PNG and would like to get some notes...
Thanks.:)

I usually stay on Plaza Deck 5 in an inside cabin. I've not heard any noises; in fact it's quiet.
Cheers.

Sure, you can bring your own mixer (soda, soft drinks) onboard.
Cheers.

Fun! Enjoy your cruise.
Who is the Captain?
Cheers.

I reckon it's better to pre-purchase Internet minutes before the cruise; you'll get more "bonus" minutes than what is offered onboard.
Cheers.

Yes, I have had Prosciutto, Salami, Mortadella, on Princess Cruises. I can't recall if there was any for breakfast, but it was in the buffet at lunch and dinner.
Some of the officers are Italian.
Cheers.

Good Morning! Enjoyed your cruise video report. Thanks for making it!

Hello!
I love going to the market; a great place to take some photos and pick up some souvenirs such as the Monoi oils. I also like to buy a tropical flower arrangement to bring back on the ship (around 15$ USD).
This past July I was in Papeete with my son. I negotiated with a taxi driver - helps if you speak some French - to go to the James Norman Hall House/Museum ("Mutiny on the Bounty" co-author), spent 45 minutes there, and on to Point Venus Lighthouse and the black sand beach. We spent 2.5 hours there and the taxi driver returned to take us back to downtown. We paid $80 USD.
I've also seen near to the little tourist market that is located close to the ship, a few people who were selling tours around the island, might have been around 60$ USD. Perhaps that is an option for you.
Cheers.

Yes. I've done so from many ports around the world. I like having flowers in the cabin.
Cheers.

Great! Enjoy your cruise on CB.
Cheers.

I'd select Caribbean Princess for the one additional day! And also because you've stated that you haven't been to Bonaire. Nice to see a new port.
Cheers.

It's no problem to bring back food to your cabin from the Horizon Court Buffet or the Grill and Pizzeria on Lido deck, or the International Cafe'.
Cheers.

Thank you!:)

Relax, read, watch films, play Trivia twice per day, walk around the Promenade deck, go to a lecture, Afternoon Tea, etc. Lots to do or nothing to do!
