  1. True, in the context of the question. The "device" can be switched, as I always do. As example I switch it from iPhone, to iPad, to Mac. Point being it is not tied to a device.

Very true. But to the OP's question regarding texting others in her group, she would have to purchase plans for all devices to do that. That is why I suggested the hub app chat feature.

  2. They should have some kind of dispenser system. Until they figure something out, we have to put up with the non appealing way they do it now.

It would be nice if you actually got a NEW soda when you ordered. 9 out of 10 times. You get the rest of one of the leftover cans sitting there going flat before they open a new can to top it off. Which then creates a new leftover can for the next guest. I drink Coke Zero so, this is a big issue for me. No telling how long that leftover can has been sitting there. On top of all that, the fact that you don't even get a full 12oz is a disappointment.

  3. I just got an email yesterday offering my wife and I to "upgrade" from our L-Shaped room with 2X balcony on deck 7 on the Valor, to a standard balcony on deck 8 for $22 !?!? It said higher is better. And, it said I'd be closer to the "fun". Hahaha! Ummm, no.... I'll trade the sofa for a 2X balcony. And, we'll keep our room on the empress deck. We want to try this type of room out anyway.

  4. I'm sorry for YOUR confusion. I am not confusing anything. We did not purchase an internet package. We paid the $5 for the hub app for all 4 of our devices. My wife and I were able to send and receive text messages to anyone in our phone book for the entire cruise. I mentioned we have Verizon, and I listed our phones so that may be an OS specific feature, idk... You can find other Verizon customers confirming this on these boards. So, once again, so that there's no confusion, this was accomplished by only using the $5 hub app on the Breeze.

  5. Hub chat and internet plans are separate. You don't need an internet plan to use the Hub app or the chat feature.

You don't need an iPhone or Facebook Messenger to text, at least with Verizon. Verizon has free wifi texting.

Was thrilled when I discovered this on the breeze. We all just paid the $5 hub app fee. We were free to text anyone on land we wanted. I use the Verizon messaging app. I'm not sure if you HAVE to use it or not. Either way, it's a great service!

  6. Where is the best place to park for the cruise? One that has security and monitored.

We use Galveston Park & Cruise. It's directly across the street from the terminal. They have indoor or outdoor options. Never had an issue. You can book online.

  7. We did the same. We pre-ordered 1 Bacardi & 1 Malibu. I didn't put a dent in the Bacardi. Only drank half the Malibu. It really wasn't worth it for us. I don't remember if it says the size of the bottles or not. But, they are only 1L bottles. $85 is robbery to begin with. But, discovered the insanity of the prices once I realized they were 1L and not 1.75L bottles.
