I could have sworn my Irish coffee was $7.50 on Glory 1/15/23.
Well maybe this was an outdated menu. Page says they are current as of 1/23 but maybe not all of them are.

What time did the casino open after setting sail?

We'll be on board in 3 weeks. Cant wait. Thinks for posting this.

If you've done this Excursion, how serious are they about the 250lb weight restriction? I'm usually 5 -10 lbs over that and was just wondering if they weigh you before you board?

I'm looking for the Montego Bay, Grand Cayman, Cozumel itinerary.
-
Will be sailing in March. Managed to grab FTTF yesterday. I originally had an 1130-12 check in time. My questions are:
What is the earliest they start the check in process in NOLA?
What time do they start boarding the Dream usually?

Haven’t been to Grand Cayman yet. I’m going in 6 months on Vista.
Cozumel - Grand Cayman - Montego
Haven’t been to Grand Cayman or Montego yet...Cozumel? I get mail there.
This is the itinerary we are doing 3/17 on the Dream. Hopefully you'll do a live review for it as well.
Enjoyed reading your Live Review of the Dream. Can't wait to board.

Hey Greg,
Great review. We sail on Mar. 17th. First time sailing with the whole family. My DW, two sons and their girlfriends. I went all out and got everyone Cheers so we WILL be hanging out at Alchemy and after seeing your
photos I will be trying ALL the different Alchemy concoctions.
Bob :):):)
We'll be on this same cruise! Can't wait.

the cove is more?? or the regular balcony?
I can remember when the coves were so hard to get they were pricey...when they first came out.
the view is a little different, some prefer it. closer to the water and the way the balcony supports are set up, vs having that rail in the middle of a regular balcony.
i woudnt pay $220 extra for either, whichever balcony is the better deal. but i dont mind walking either.
The regular balcony on Deck 6 is $220 more than the cove on Deck 2. This is on the Dream if that makes a difference to anyone.
-
Is $220 worth the difference between a Cove Balcony on Deck 2 compared to a regular balcony on deck 6? I've stayed in a regular balcony before, but never a Cove. Advantages/disadvantages from people who have.

Do I have to print them or can I just download them on my phone? Leaving out of Tampa this Sunday.

Waiting to board right now. We arrived at 10 and it was a madhouse with passengers still getting off. Waiting to board now, group #2 (at 11:58am). Previous week passengers seemed really angry.

What time did you select for your check-in time?
Passengers have until 10 or 11 to be off the ship I believe. They normal don't start letting new people onboard till around noon.

So what’s a good game plan for Dawn? Stay in cabin until hear if they are tracking down international pax via announcements? Only go to holding area if NO calls going on by 8am?

Problem with this is cleaning crew will start kicking you out of the room. I say just leave you luggage out the night before, get up, eat breakfast, and don't be in any big hurry. If you have an early flight, let guest services know ahead of time so something can be done.

To keep LD Silver from having to email everyone that ask about these, I put them all in a Google drive folder. Here's the link.

2 cruise lines have already began cancelling them in the wake of the latest bomb find.

OK - I have scanned the Dailies. I'd be happy to e-mail the PDF files to anyone interested in them. Shoot me an e-mail at:
You have mail! Thanks again.

Not necessarily a Dawn or NCL problem. I've cruised 2 other times out of Tampa, both on Carnival.
First one, getting on was a nightmare. Previous cruise had a passenger pass away while on board so it took customs a while to clear boat. Because of this, the line to get into the terminal was wrapped around the corner and down the road. Took around 1.5 hrs to get through everything and on board.
Getting off the ship though was very easy. 15 min tops.
2nd one was the exact opposite. 30 min maybe to clear security, check in, and be on board.
However getting off, there was an issue with customs. Never got a clear answer, as the employees didn't seem to know either. Boat was about 1 hr late letting the first group of people off. Once we were called, it wasn't too bad from that point.

DJ Anonymous was onboard.....nothing special.
The main comedian was Alvin Williams. I actually liked his family friendly show better than his late night adult show. His adult show had too much politics.......I cruise to get away from all that noise.
The was a magic show the final night of the cruise (Haines Magic) and it was very entertaining. Don't miss it.
I also liked Soul Rockin' Nights which was a production show that featured many songs from the British Invasion including 3 songs from The Who. Not your typical cruise line production show as they really let the band jam. Probably the best production show I've seen on a cruise ship.
They also do a "Dancing With the Stars" type show featuring ship dancers and passengers. I was a lot of fun. I laughed so hard my face hurt.
Manilla Soul put on several shows in the Bliss Lounge. Good band.
There was an acrobat/gymnast couple (Duo Nika) that did a show in the Stardust Theatre. It was meh.
Hope that helps. I'm going to be writing a detailed review in the next couple of days.
Sounds good. Let us know when you do.

I just got off the 2/18 sailing of the Dawn and have the Dailies. I'll scan them in the next couple of days after I get back to work.
In the meantime, I'd be happy to answer any questions.
How was the entertainment? DJ's and comedians in particular. I've always been on Carnival and I've heard they just aren't as good on NCL.
-
I'm sailing on the Dawn on March 18th, and I believe the 2/18 is the same itinerary. Anyone have the dailies?
I've been trying to find them as well . I'm on the same sailing as you. I've had no luck. I asked in another thread that was for a review of last week's cruise and I'm waiting to hear back.
Did have a lady who left on the ship yesterday say she would post this week's ones when she gets back.

Hubby and I were with you on this cruise' date=' and we agree with your review overall. Especially agree with your comment about disembarkation. It was ridiculous. We weren't exactly sure what was causing the delay, so thank you for the info. What should have been easy, stress-free disembarkation for carry -off luggage passengers beginning at 8 am....added another 3+ hours before finally getting off the ship to head home. Luckily we didn't have a flight to catch, or it could've been missed! NCL really dropped the ball on how things were handled.

@IntrepidFromDC Any chance you got screenshots/pics of the Fun Times each day? Leaving on the MG on 3/11. Thanks for this post, it's kept me occupied during many of slow days at work! LOL
