If you have DOUE you don't need a mobile bar  😂.

This was a gift from the casino on an Ultra cruise years ago. Has got more use than any casino or vifp gift I've ever gotten.

You've got what it takes 🎶

My sister has free drinks in casino. If the machines are full, I thought be could get one of those and a bottle in spain.

Thanks....since I am not a gambler, but I have no problem with those that are, I can not imagine feeding any slot machine or table $2k, but to each his/her own how you choose to spend your $$$ is your choice,  I can't imagine what Elite cruisers spend.

Remember that about 40% of the time I come out even or leave the ship with more funds than my slot machine budget.

Excuse my lack of education on the gambling "thing" and gambling cruise offers.

Am I interpreting your post correctly; you gamble close to the amount a cabin would cost and cheers pkg and in turn you get comped a room?

Yes. My slot machine budget is less than 2k on a typical seven day cruise. I always tip well for every drink, buy photos, eat at steakhouse, use spa and carnival excursions.  I know it is not proven but I believe my overall spending behavior helps me get offers.

For me it's not enjoyable to go on a premier or elite cruise.  I get the invites, then avoid those cruises.  I enjoy my time in the casino but I really don't enjoy it when it's overly crowded.

I agree that I did not enjoy the casino on a Premium cruise as much as a 'normal' cruise. I send more when I am relaxed and can go machine to machine. How do we check and see if cruise from Barcelona to Orlando is a specialty casino cruise?

    Thanks

We sailed a few times on Carnival many years ago and the coffee was not that great. I don’t drink, but I consume a lot of Coffee. We took a cruise on Royal Carribean and the free coffee was great. Which made me wonder if Carnival had changed to a better drip coffee?

The room serve coffee and the dining room coffee is good! I order coffee every morning. I add a banana for late at night.

Do you mean the delivery method? Does the Celebration still have a Pizza Pirate to go to in person?

On the Celebration late at night a man was on duty to hand out cheese and pepperoni.  Therefore, you only had to wait for special orders. There was no wait for cheese and pepperoni

    Thanks for following along.

Some observations from my one Journey cruise last year.

It's a much more calm crowd and more, ummm, mature.

It will be filled with people who enjoy traveling and most will be a joy to be around and share experiences with.  Some will be miserable and you will wonder why they are there. Sounds just like CC.

Like any large group, there will be bad apples that stick out. Less packs of roaming kids, more speeding scooters that will mow you down if you don't move fast enough.

I never saw a line at guest services or for pizza. In fact, you had to ring a bell for service at pizza pirate.

Tables were hard to come by at lunch. Card players take over Lido.

MDR fills up fast and turns over slow due to more diners who like to eat early and linger over a leisurely dinner.

There will be lots of unique menus and activities although the activities will start to get repetitive after about day 10 or 11. Expect lots of trivia and ball room dancing.

Things in general just move a lot slower and if you are down with that it is such a great experience. I'm really looking forward to it.

I'm sure I'm forgetting something but those are the differences I remember best.

This makes me wonder if I want late dinning.....
