  1. The following is being reported on the Royal Caribbean Crown and Anchor Facebook Group page:

" Currently on Adventure. According to crew, loyalty ambassador, concierge and guest services , the following changes were implemented on 6/1. In diamond club you MUST give them your card to swipe for your 3 and 3 only free drinks. Also with drink package now, one drink per card at a time only . No more ordering drinks for couples on one card."

  2. Hi Steve & Ronnie.

We are on the next cruise, are you staying on?

We did Ovation in China, a couple of weeks ago.

The sea pass cards were on the door like normal.:(

We only got into the CL on the second leg of the B2B, as we had got our cards on the last night of the 1st cruise.

A couple of stewards questioned us, and when we said we were going to the CL they let us through.:)

Hoping to cruise with you again

    Seija & Adrian

Hi Seija & Adrian, unfortunately we will only be doing the Tianjin to Singapore leg so we may see you as we get off!!

I emailed the concierge (Nadia) asking whether the concierge lounge would be accessible on boarding day and her reply stated:

"Concierge Lounge will be open as soon as boarding begins . We will have some sandwiches, fruit and cookies, also the coffee machine is open so you can wait here till the staterooms are open, around 1:30pm."

    Happy cruising!

  3. I know on Anthem you cannot access the Diamond lounge on 4 near the music club because you do not have your room key until 1:00 when the cabins open up. Until 1:00 you only have your set sail pass with a bar code for purchases not lounge entry. Of course, if you can catch a consecutive cruiser that has access coming or going you can follow them into the lounge.

This just may be the case for Ovation as well.

I believe that in Asia, the sea pass card is issued in the cruise terminal.

  4. Funny that you want it for some good action shots of an off road trip. That is exactly what someone on our cruise in April used it for. I'm sure he used it on other tours as well. We did an off roading tour on Moorea in April on the Radiance. He seemed very good at flying it. I don't know the rules on using them, but I hope it works out for you. It would be some really good shots.

This could be the same gentleman who had a drone on our Voyager repositioning cruise from Sydney to Singapore. He was allowed to take it off at each port and fly it from the land. He was not allowed to come close to or overfly the ship. He was also not allowed to take off or land the drone on the ship. He produced some wonderful footage of our voyage.

  5. How is it determined that casino is non smoking on Indy, but not Anthem?

What about Navigator out of Southampton?

    Is this known before sailing?

On our recent Canary Islands cruise on the Navigator out of Southampton I can assure you that smoking was allowed in the casino. It's the reason why we did not enter the casino for the whole cruise.

  6. Recently I booked two back to back cruises out of Singapore on the Mariner on the RCI website. I paid the deposit and a first payment online and then stupidly e-mailed RCI asking them to ensure that the two bookings were seen as back to back. They have managed to do that, but now I cannot make any payments on the booking as I get the message "Please note that only reservations made on RoyalCaribbean.com with your My Cruises account can be modified online. You can however complete your Online Check-In and make advanced reservations using our Cruise Planner". I have e-mailed and used the support contact messaging but I am still unable to pay for my cruise. Any suggestions as to how to sort this out?
