We have always managed to get a day room at Crowne Plaza Changi. We just emailed the hotel and they provided a quotation. It's is really convenient for your flight as it is attached to the terminal and no shuttle is required.

We are sailing on the Jewel 23rd December sailing and have4 received our edocs. For Bahrain they state:
All eligible guests, including United States and Canadian citizens will receive their visa with the shipboard team’s assistance. For visa requirements of other nationalities, contact your visa provider.

I have never heard of anybody having a problem getting the visas from the ship.
We had a fabulous tour to Petra. What an amazing place!

Has anybody had a problem with the site not accepting your C&A number when completing the setsail check-in?

Does either of the bathrooms in the Sky Loft Suites on Anthem of the Seas have a bath?

Hi Steve & Ronnie.
We are on the next cruise, are you staying on?
We did Ovation in China, a couple of weeks ago.
The sea pass cards were on the door like normal.:(
We only got into the CL on the second leg of the B2B, as we had got our cards on the last night of the 1st cruise.
A couple of stewards questioned us, and when we said we were going to the CL they let us through.:)
Hoping to cruise with you again
Seija & Adrian
Hi Seija & Adrian, unfortunately we will only be doing the Tianjin to Singapore leg so we may see you as we get off!!
I emailed the concierge (Nadia) asking whether the concierge lounge would be accessible on boarding day and her reply stated:
"Concierge Lounge will be open as soon as boarding begins . We will have some sandwiches, fruit and cookies, also the coffee machine is open so you can wait here till the staterooms are open, around 1:30pm."
Happy cruising!

I know on Anthem you cannot access the Diamond lounge on 4 near the music club because you do not have your room key until 1:00 when the cabins open up. Until 1:00 you only have your set sail pass with a bar code for purchases not lounge entry. Of course, if you can catch a consecutive cruiser that has access coming or going you can follow them into the lounge.
This just may be the case for Ovation as well.
I believe that in Asia, the sea pass card is issued in the cruise terminal.

We are on the Ovation next week and it is our first cruise on this class of ship. On boarding day we normally like to board early and wait in the concierge lounge until the cabins are ready. Is the concierge lounge on Quantum class ships available for access before the cabins are ready?

Thank you both for the informative replies.

We are sailing on Ovation in October and have booked the iFLY experience.
I was wondering whether the ship's photographers are available to take photos or do we have to arrange our own?

Last month the two formal nights were day 3 and day 6.

Dubai sailings have just opened up for booking. It wouldn't let me book online but I could ring up and was able to make the booking.
Just managed to book the Christmas 2019 cruise online. It's great to have a ship back in the Gulf!

We did this route in May 2015 on the Rhapsody. I don't recall any particularly rough seas nor any extra entertainment for the sea days.
We thoroughly enjoyed the ports of call and plan to sail that route again in the future.
-
I have an app on my iPhone called Ship Mate that allows me to add all my cruises and has the itinerary and ports of call for each one. I just checked it and it contains itineraries for the Majesty going back to 2000. Hope this helps.

Well the policy is blatantly discriminatory, and I love that it is. It's obscene that you sometimes can't book a suite because some low-life who has no firm intention of going on the cruise has booked them out. A 25% non-refundable deposit would work for me; and if you really can't go then that's what travel insurance is for.
I totally agree!

Funny that you want it for some good action shots of an off road trip. That is exactly what someone on our cruise in April used it for. I'm sure he used it on other tours as well. We did an off roading tour on Moorea in April on the Radiance. He seemed very good at flying it. I don't know the rules on using them, but I hope it works out for you. It would be some really good shots.
This could be the same gentleman who had a drone on our Voyager repositioning cruise from Sydney to Singapore. He was allowed to take it off at each port and fly it from the land. He was not allowed to come close to or overfly the ship. He was also not allowed to take off or land the drone on the ship. He produced some wonderful footage of our voyage.

There are 2 duty free shops in the baggage reclaim hall (one on either side). You are entitled to bring in 4 Litres of spirits or 4 Litres of wine per person.

We did the Angkor Wat excursion from the voyager in 2012. I can honestly say that it is the best shore excursion we have ever done with RCI (although it was expensive). The guides we had were absolutely brilliant and could not do enough for us. The hotel was great and we really enjoyed the food. I would definitely recommend it.

Spectacular sailaways/ sail ins also include Malta and Venice
Totally agree with these but would like to add Halong Bay, Vietnam

How is it determined that casino is non smoking on Indy, but not Anthem?
What about Navigator out of Southampton?
Is this known before sailing?
On our recent Canary Islands cruise on the Navigator out of Southampton I can assure you that smoking was allowed in the casino. It's the reason why we did not enter the casino for the whole cruise.

Recently I booked two back to back cruises out of Singapore on the Mariner on the RCI website. I paid the deposit and a first payment online and then stupidly e-mailed RCI asking them to ensure that the two bookings were seen as back to back. They have managed to do that, but now I cannot make any payments on the booking as I get the message "Please note that only reservations made on RoyalCaribbean.com with your My Cruises account can be modified online. You can however complete your Online Check-In and make advanced reservations using our Cruise Planner". I have e-mailed and used the support contact messaging but I am still unable to pay for my cruise. Any suggestions as to how to sort this out?
