We are on the Escape in Feb. and I was wondering if the ship has a nite lite that automatically goes on for you at night? RC Anthem has that so we didn't have to bring a nite lite!

Last year I went on RC and people had a case of water. They put a room tag on it like it was luggage and it was delivered to their room! Maybe they changed it.

I am on the Norwegian and they charge 33.54 for 12 1liter bottles and 53.94 for 24 1 liter bottles. That's a lot of money !!!!

I have never been on the Escape, but I thought all cruise lines would do that. Just my thoughts.

I am sailing on RCCL on May 14th (Mothers Day ) and I told my kids to put money for OBC so I won't have to pay for drinks.That will be my gift from them. I think it's a good idea .

It was my pleasure to read all your posts and look at all the pictures. We leave on May 14th . We are 6 elderly women ranging from 69 (me) to 91. All others are in their seventies. My first cruise without my hubby. Thank you and have fun on your next excursion.

We just did the Marriott beach day at St. Kitts three weeks ago and it was awesome! Beautiful sandy beach with loungers and cabana-like roofs. Access to the three pools. Reasonable food and drinks at 10% off, clean changing rooms and bathrooms. Easy cab ride to and from the cruise port (about $15 each way total for two people).

 

Highly recommended. My wife wants to go back to St. Kitts just so we could do another day like we had there.

Squeeze the wet cloths in a Sham Wow. It really removes the water and takes less time to dry. Easy to pack also.

I was on the Anthem in January, and I did the IFLY. You have to have tie shoes and socks for that. So if you want to do that, then you need those items. Have a great time!

Usually 90 days before your cruise is when you can make the reservations. I was able to do mine for May 14th cruise.

If you are going to the beach, I would bring baby powder. It really takes the sand off of you before going back to the ship.

Welcome to Cruise Critic! We usually get to the port around 11:00. Never had a problem. Enjoy your cruise and have fun.

I have never asked for such a table, but I think you do need to call RC or if you have a TA, you can ask them. Good luck and enjoy your cruise.:)

Would you please specify the weight limit. I believe you cannot be over 6'2" and no more than 230lbs. Correct me if I'm wrong. So sorry your DH can't do it.

I do have Ripcord scheduled for the next day after we leave, at 12 noon. Hopefully some people my age will do it too.

Thank you Alfaeric and Biker19. I have watched the youtube videos and have decided I really want to do this. It looks really cool.I will be 69 in January and I love crazy things. My husband did the real skydiving last year but I'm not that brave. Thanks again.

I have made reservations for the ifly on Anthem. I was wondering if being 5'7 and 185 lbs. should make me rethink doing this. I really want to, but I don't want to look silly either. If someone has done this being that weight I would like to know how it was.
