  1. We stayed on board and watched the process from beginning to end from different places on the ship. It was an exciting day--up early to watch the ships line up and then to watch as we followed a huge container ship through the lock. On the way back we had a good look at the new lock construction. Just me but I enjoyed staying on the ship and watching it all!

    You will love it

  2. I am booked in a Neptune suite on the Koningsdam and looking for pictures of the suite with the king bed divided to make twins. Neptunes on other ships have worked just fine--the steward just moves one of the bedside tables to the center. From the pictures I have seen it looks like it will be a really tight space on the K but my niece and I need separate beds. Anyone have experience in this?

    Thanks

  3. :)If you were on the Oosterdam and your cruise was cancelled call your PCC or HAL now. Research and see what cruises are remaining and similar. Decide which you would like to switch to and they will make it happen.

I am so thankful to my PCC for all the work she has done to move me to the Koningsdam for almost the same TA. We are only loosing the Lisbon stop. I had not planned on trying out the Koningsdam since it was so much more expensive but now is my chance! I was given the same price as my Oosterdam TA. What a deal.

    Thanks PCC. Thanks HAL:)

  4. If you have the beverage package, is the honor bar included (assuming under the $8 limit)?

Also, does anyone know what brand of tea they serve, whether in the Neptune Lounge or elsewhere?

The coffee/espresso machine is absolutely awesome in the Neptune. I bring my own thermal mug and make a cappuccino or two to take back to the verandah and sip while watching the ship dock. I also found on the Amsterdam last year in Alaska that the Neptune had a wonderful selection of Harney &Sons teas. The tea is packaged in little silk sachets and I though it quite nice.

    Enjoy

  5. I am trying to make reservations for the Pinnacle and Tamarind on my next cruise in March. How far in advance will I be able to access the reservation system?

I wish I could have made the reservations yesterday when I tried. It would have saved me a few dollars. I hate the price increase but love the steaks in both restaurants so I still plan to go.

It does make the Explore 4 package worth a little more!

  6. This should be simple but I see nothing about flights on my summary page. Could it be that my cruise summary page is different because I booked via a PCC? I log on to my acccount and go to my Reservations. Both cruises are there. (One is more than 330 days out) If I click the green purchase button it is only for dining, spa, and port excursions. Could I not have access because I am working with a PCC? This is uber frustrating. I will call PCC in am. Thanks for the help.

  7. Actually, they do. We booked our cruise to the Med for this spring with a HAL rep. A few weeks later we went online to Flight Ease and picked our flights. We had done alot of research with different airlines and HAL's price was almost $300.00 cheaper offering the identical flights we wanted. Also, the flights to Europe were Flex flights, so we don't have to pay for them until cruise final payment in February.

I have two cruises booked by my PCC. I have called my PCC and have a tentative flight schedule but would like to see all flights available. I cannot figure out how to get into FlightEase without the PCC. Could someone walk me through FlightEase for Dummies!
