  1. We prefer the ease of the port garage.

You save a few dollars at the offsite lots but once you pay tips each way you haven't saved enough to make it worthwhile.

I'm just saying, we find Park N Go to be the very easiest way to roll...you pull in, they load your luggage, drop you at the ship, are there when you disembark, load your luggage and drop you at your car...then give you a bottle of cold spring water as you leave the gate. As far as the savings in $$, every penny counts when one is living on social security and save pennies in order to cruise and saving $$ on parking is very important to us. To each his own, but we find this an enjoyable part of our journey. As I said before...it is totally painless. :)

  2. We are trying "US1 Parking" for the first time. Has anyone used them and do you have any feedback? They are about a mile outside the port @ 2800 South Federal Hwy, and seem fairly reasonable at $58 with tax for eight days.

We use PARK N GO at 1101 Eller Dr, Fort Lauderdale. They keep the keys, but we've never had any problems. If you schedule online it is $7.99 per day with one free day for every 10 days paid. We are using them once again on November 27th. Great people and great service.

  3. PARK N GO at 1101 Eller Dr. Fort Lauderdale. We make reservation online and price is $7.99 per day. You get one free day for every 10 days used. They load your luggage into their van and drive you to the ship. After the cruise, you call the phone number they gave you and they pick you up, usually within 15 minutes of the call. Great service and great people.

  4. They are sailing from Tampa.....

So sorry!! In that case, they should go online to PARK4CRUISE. The same thing goes on...park, they shuttle you and your luggage to the port. After the cruise you call them and they pick you up and take you back to your car. The cost is $7.97 per day.

  5. All

I searched cruise critic and was not able to find much (at least recently) on parking off site in Tampa.

We are cruising on the Carnival Pride in January and will be driving to the port.

Can anyone recommend off-site parking facility?

    thanks,

    Debbi

We use PARK'N GO at 1101 Eller Dr. Fort Lauderdale, FL. You pull into their area, stop, they help unload your luggage and load it on their vehicle, you have a seat and away you go to the port...maybe a 15 minute ride. The driver unloads your luggage, and you give him a tip. At the end of the cruise, they give you a number to call and if they are not already there to pick up passengers, they will be there in 15 minutes or so. They drive you directly to your car. If you make a reservation on-line, it is $7.99 per day. You get a free day every 10 days used. It is totally a painless procedure!!
