AZBIRDMOM: Thank you for the list of tours and your personal experiences! Cruise ship tours can be very expensive but if someone is not quite sure what they're doing, cruise ship tours are a good option. But if I can save money and book an independent company, I'd rather do that as long as they're listed in Trip Advisor as a reputable company.

Excursions? Recommendations? Did you book any independent excursions apart from the ship's choices?
