Received offer for a free interior room on a premier cruise, one of the options was out of Barcelona, cost to upgrade to balcony $450/person, would receive $200 OBC. My wife and I normally depart out of Galveston or NOLA, but living in west Texas we always fly so the extra cost to get to Barcelona doesn't bother me, just not sure if I'd enjoy, we have just always enjoyed the caribbean, never been to Europe, lots of ports of call, would appreciate any input.

A few months ago on the Freedom we were allowed to, don't know why they wouldn't.

I got a call from my PVP yesterday about 4:30, same offer,my wife and I were already out of town visiting my son for the long weekend....couldn't make it. Didn't have our passports with us

I'm pretty much a newbie to this board, but just curious as to why this thread was moved?

Group of four looking for a place to lay around a beach and just chill. We have already done the ruins, cave tubing, ziplining, etc. Just can't find anything that jumps out at me. We will be snorkeling in Cozumel the day before, so that's out as well, but we don't want to just sit on the ship all day. I guess we could ride the tender back and forth all day and claim we did a boat ride while in Belize, now only if they served drinks on those tenders.

The problem is that the earliest time for our traveling partners embarkation time is 12:00, so can they drop off their luggage, say at 10:30 and board at, let's say 2:00? We don't want to board the ship earlier, rather visit the quarter. I would think we could just give the porter our bags and take off for the quarter and board later. Our traveling companions have never been to NOLA so they would like to walk around a bit, but not with our luggage., and every time we have cruised we have checked our luggage and waited at the port to board when they called our time to board.

All of the bounce back cruises I have received state on the offer that you will receive DOU, check your offer letter you received the last night of your cruise.

Real Quick question...my wife and I have priority boarding, the couple we are traveling with do not. What we are wanting to do is drop our luggage at the port early and roam the french quarter then board the ship around 2:00. Can this be done?

My wife and I sailed on the Freedom Sept. 2016 and March 2017 and received a comp bottle on the first night each time, and we have reservations on the Dream this July and have confirmed dinner reservations for the first night with the confirmation email stating we would receive a free bottle of wine or 50% off a higher priced wine.

Suggestions please for the best ziplineing, do not want to hike a lot to get to the starting point, 4 of us, ages 61 to 58. we have done it in Costa Rica and Hawaii.

Adam3313 is correct, it came with the offer, I've never had a problem with getting the card from the casino host, but not a bad idea to bring the letter, just in case!
-
Thanks for your responses...when you have a DOU card, the opening of the casino becomes important. Now, what's this I hear about a Louisiana Tax on winnings? If you just play blackjack I don't know how over a week's time they can keep up with that.

Used to cruising out of Galveston, but I know it takes a while to get out of NOLA, heading down the MS river.

My wife and I were on the same cruise....15 drinks, not a limit, it's a goal...we didn't do the cheers this time since I had the drinks on us card and still was able to reach my goal (with the help of my wife who kept stealing my drinks). Looking forward to see what you thought about the week.
-
no problem with the 15 minute rule, but when you request a drink and it takes more than 15 to 20 minutes to get your first drink, that's what I have a problem with.
-
my wife and I do the same thing $2 per drink, even on the cheers program, but I was a litttle perturbed at the casino, when you are playing blackjack you tend to move from one table to the next depending on how the cards are going
-
Heading out in couple of days on a free cruise on Freedom with DOS card, my question is can you get drinks at the casino bar or do you have to be sitting at a table, I only play blackjack and a few months ago it seemed forever to get a drink, like 15 to 20 minutes, in fact I left the table several times before my drink arrived, I had the cheers package, so I could get a drink anywhere. Not getting the cheers this time but when I'm playing blackjack, do I have to wait at the table to get my drink or can I leave the table and get a drink at the casino bar?

My wife and I are cruising out of Galveston, departing 2/25 and returning 3/4....been reading about all the fog. We currently have a 2:00 departure out of Hobby. The question is should we move it to the next flight which is 5:00. Back in Sept we were at the airport by 11:00, but that was Sept, no weather issues or delays. Just asking for a little input.
-
My wife and I are flying in on the 24th, cruising out on the 25th, do you normally use Galveston Express for your return trip to the airport?
-
I might be confused but you say you are flying in the day before the cruise....why would you want to go to the pier straight from the airport if it's the day before the cruise?
Thinking about cruising out of Barcelona April 22...thoughts?
