Wow!!! Hopefully no one ever needs the ship MD. We had a terrible experience on NCL Escape last October. My sister got sick from to much sun, not enough water etc. Was dehydrated etc. Our vill from the doctor visit, IV fluids and some medications to stop the nausea came to $1400!!! Holy crap!!! It was outrageous

First thing is that you are going to have a fabulous time!!.
The pool deck you do not need a cover up but inside you do. I mean if you are just leaving the cabin and going straight to the pool and back you dont. But if you want to grab something at the buffet etc you should throw on a cover up.
Your Seapass cards are your ship ID, cabin key and $$. It opens your cabin door and turns on your lights. If you order a drink at the pool they scan your card to charge your room etc. I just keep the keys in my pool bag with my book, cover up and sun screen

I mean, wow they didn't get a bottle of champagne so now the cruise is gonna suck??? Yes, maybe they had some difficulty booking and had some mess ups. Computers and people do make mistakes. However, they are on the ship. Instead of looking for negatives tell them to enjoy celebrating their honeymoon and let the small stuff slide. Some people go their entire lives without affording a vacation

My family ordered a "honeymoon" decoration package as a surprise along with champagne with chocolate covered strawberries. It was an awesome surprise. We opening our cabin door and was like wow.

Hotel Espana is a block off Las Ramblas. Has a great roof top bar with small pool and hot tub. Loved every minute

OMG!! No!! Fly down. Check Spirit and jet blue. I've done the drive many times when I moved from NYC to Miami and recently back. It's a horrible, long journey.

I've actually sailed the Escape 2x last year. Loved it! Stayed in a studio which was wonderful. Looking forward to trying RCL on the Harmony in August. I will post my comparison as well

Well I was going to book the Anthem out of NJ for my August cruise. I live in the area and hate having to fly if I don't have too. But, I must go on Harmony of the seas!!! [emoji1] so excited.

I would discourage anyone from going to medical under any condition. Oh let's not forget the poor girl who forgot to bring her insulin that we also met at the desk who was charged $1,000

We also met a couple at the desk who had a bill for $3,000 for a stomach bug. She had to stay in her cabin for 3 days to be sure it wasn't contagious which it turned out to be

Oh I absolutely agree it was my sister's responsibility. That's not in question. But not telling us the fee prior to give hydration or letting us believe it would be a reasonable bill is an issue. We expected 300, 400 even 500. But $1400?? I'm a nurse I would have taken her to the cabin and done it myself. I really don't know why the customer service was so poor this trip. As I said my first sailing was amazing which is why I returned 6 months later on the same ship with 2 extra guests.

Hi, just got off my 2nd cruise on the Escape. First was a solo cruise last March which was wonderful. Unfortunately cruise 2 was a nightmare. The ship of course is still beautiful and had 2 friends and a balcony this time. However, the financial service area is a mess. We spent nearly every day at guest relations. I was charged 2x for my spa service (hot stone massage which was great) $187.62 charged 2x had to keep explaining I had only one massage. It still has not been refunded....my sister got dehydrated from to much sun, not enough fluids and she was given 2 IV fluids for a total of $1400!!! Yes, $1400!! They locked her account until we paid it. They said oh don't worry it won't be much. We will just hydrate her. The bill was more then her part of the cruise. We had charges from someone else's account as well as movies we didn't rent. All 3 pf pur cards got locked on different occasions and had to return to guest services to have our cards unlocked. Our excursion was cancelled in Honduras due to rain and they refunded only one of our tickets. We are still working on getting the other refund. If I never see the guest relation desk again I will be happy. It definitely caused a damper on our vacation and I'm not sure I will return to NCL on my next cruise next spring. I need a vaca from that vaca.
