We were on the Celebrity Summit and our ship was involved in the search. Because of this detour/delay our ship had changed the port from Antigua and ended up in st croix.
With a cruise already shortened....
Really sad story this overboard thing...

Thank you, going on the Escape in Aug and only me 3rd cruise. I appreciate the honest feedback. I always wondered why people keep going back if it is so horrible. I am worried about the amount of people and finding some alone time but the ship looks huge and I am sure I can find a quiet space or two. Lounge hogs are at resorts also with towels on chairs starting at 6 in the morning. Seems silly to me.
So right and will love this ship

We had a deck 12 balcony on the escape . I don't get how he could fall off and the ramp is enough high and safe.
And how did he fall in the water because there is the roof over the waterfront level and all the tenders below.
Jumping off from what I saw, It's a sure landing on the roof.
Maybe i'm wrong or he did rebound
First pick we see a bit of the roof and the tender.
Second more roof

Is there anything in the room that you can play music with, like iPod or iPhone? Also, are outlet converters needed on this ship?

In regular rooms no ipods and you don't need any converter.

Just to keep everybody positive.
Don't lose faith with X they will refund. I received this week the 200 pp but X don't give infos and all the refunds are in separate manner.
At first we received the excursion and dinner upgrade.
Secondly during our cruise on the Escape last week, they gave back the cruise fare and port fee and taxes.
And this week the amount promised for air travel mod.
I know that we're not alone
Don't give up keep pushing and calling the resolution center.
It's obvious that it took so long and cruisers are still waiting their money 😠

Thanks again for sharing

The show is For the Record - Brat Pack... not rat pack. Totally different kind of music.
Just to clear things
In the SupperClub it's the DinnerShow with The company men and it's free
And the Escape theater it's The Brat pack.

When were you charged for cold towels at the gangway upon your return to the ship? We have always received the welcome cold towels free of charge. There is also sometimes a free cooling non-alcoholic glass of punch too.
On the Escape last week it was all free.
And at the last port of call they do an extra music party with more employees.

Tough to choose just one. They all have the own personalities and purposes. And with the mood and the activities wanted this ship offers so many opportunities. But to choose 2
We loved the Spice H2o to relax facing the aft enjoying the view while working on our Canadian suntan [emoji23]
And the outdoor activities area with the rope course and the slides. Wow thoses slides rocks and the ropes challenges you mentally.
We did beach days at the 3 stops. In 2008 we did Turtles coves and enjoyed it. We did Magen's, Cane garden and at Atlantis complex beach the waves were huges that day [emoji106]
French is our main language here in Montreal, but wished my 2 kids could talk and understand English like us. They are too young and they are at their beginning of the basics at school. Sadly not enough to enjoy the Splash.
Was this expensive? Or included that I doubt a lot.
They are 4 and 7 and they saw Escape videos on YouTube and they are jealous and want to go [emoji6]
I shared you're posts to my wife and was unable stop laughing when you talked about the sound machine in ur room. I was living it with you and seeing us in a near future with the kids.
That part made my day [emoji23]
Thanks again [emoji106]

At 11 it's the glow party. Last night and chance to celebrate at H2o.
Pics took last thursday and don't miss the start when Andre interacts with the screen. Really nice and it cranks the dancers to the upper level.

Can't stop reading you're post Lol
It reminds me last week on the Escape. We had so fun and looking to go back again

Thank you so much for your review! Cannot wait to do the Behind the Scenes Tour. What day was it held?
I sail in July and love your pictures! Thanks!
Thanks so much! I appreciate your letting me know. The Escape looks like they have more treadmills than the Getaway, hope I'm right.
Sorry I've just realized that on whattsapp
I got this pic [emoji12]

Sorry for misspelling [emoji53] . Yes the prime hours for speciality dinning goes fast. For the shows last week, Monday morning almost everything was sold out.

Get some redbull and Goose ready for the glow party

Like said before the 2/3 of the schedule is release on boarding.
We booked 2 before sailing date because of the Summit Mayhem and did all that onboard. Go straight to the headliner and they will work that for you or do it on the many screens available
-
Thanks - great review! We are on the Escape next month and can't wait. Everything I've read negative comments about on the boards has been addressed by you and I'm sure we'll have a wonderful time as we always do on cruises.
You will for sure we had so much fun last week on the Escape.

We just booked it for the last week in September. I am hoping that the timing is good with kids back to school. Got the drinks and dining package. How many meals does the dining include? Every night we get the speciality dining ? Should we make reservations in advance?
Sent from my iPhone using Forums
The basic pakg offers 3 dinners that you can book I think about a month before sailing. But remember that 2/3 off the dinning schedule is offer at boarding day so be quick. It's the time for shows and dinners planning for the week.
-
No it's not included but It seems to cost around 5$. But not sure .....
Two kids were checking it and they told everyone to get their wrist band to be allowed. The restaurant in front of the trampoline was maybe the place to get them.
The kids on it we're having great fun.
But for this excursion I'm not 100% sure they go there all the time. Look at the vid that explain the details of this beach day.
Maybe I'm wrong

How's the weather for your last day at sea ? And what you're plans for Nassau?

We were on the Escape last week also and did see the Rat Pack. Really good show based on The breakfast club movie. The show, singers are tight and it's not a new show.
We did eat at Savor ,Taste and Manahttan for a total of 6 times and had no issues for service. We were impressed how kick the service was, I always take 2 appetizers and never had to wait long between them.

Just by curiosity did someone notice some noise in the cheminee area ( just past the middle going to the aft ). Last week we walked front the front to our room using deck 12 alley and noticed this sound. We guessed that it was a kind of vibration coming from these cheminees. I hope that the cabins near this area don't suffer from this.

We had a aft balcony on port side on deck 12. No such issues on stability but we did not had rough sea. Sometimes we could feel some movement but we were close of the rear elevators and that spot was amazing. Near the Garden buffet, the pool deck and not far from the Dinning spots
