  1. I'm following this thread because we have a similar situation. We are booked on the MSC Armonia for next week (first time on MSC). When we booked a few months ago, they were still advertising the 12 free drink vouchers. We booked over the phone directly with MSC, and they said they were ending the free drink voucher program at the end of March, so we would not be getting them, since our cruise was in April. So again, when we booked they were still being offered, but because we weren't sailing until April, she said we wouldn't get them. But on our boarding documents, it does say we will get them. I guess we won't know until we board next week.
  2. Hi folks! Longtime cruisers but we just booked our first ever MSC cruise (Armonia) for April. This will also be our first time visiting Cuba. I read alot on the MSC website, and I just wanted to confirm I understood 2 things... 1. My wife and I are not alcohol drinkers, and we usually get the unlimited soda packages on other cruiselines. MSC website shows their unlimited soda package is over $200 ($29/day)!! This seems extremely high, I could swear Carnival was like $50 for the week. Am I reading this correctly? Why do expensive? 2. We were excited about visiting Cuba for the first time, but I'm just now reading about the requirements, which I didn't know about upfront. The MSC website says passengers cannot just walk off the ship and walk around on their own, they can only walk off the ship if they have a tour booked, is that correct? I ask because we were debating whether to book a city tour or not, as we usually just walk around on our own. I also read that a Visa is required for all guest, which is $75 per person, is that true too? Because that's an extra $150 expense. Thanks in advance Dave & Chris davenetman
  3. Thanks everyone for your feedback, very much appreciated
  4. Long-time cruiser but first time booking on MSC (Armonia). One thing we love about Carnival is their stand-up comedy clubs, which we attend regularly. Does MSC have a comedy club, or at least have stand-up comedy shows? Thanks in advance!
  5. Thanks darth frosty, HDMI is an option from my tablet 🙂
  6. Do the TV's on the Carnival Magic allow you to plug in a USB flash drive and play videos stored on it? We're going on the Magic for the first time, but I know older ships in the past haven't allowed this. We were able to on a recent NCL cruise, and really enjoyed watching some movies we brought along. Thanks in advance! DaveNetMan
