LC, Luggage labels are normally available to print two weeks before you board if you have pre booked your cabin. Ships paper boarding pass is normally available a couple of days before you depart, again if you have pre booked your cabin. When you have completed safety drill, you receive your onboard passes.Â
This may not apply if you have not pre booked your cabin.

I believe it's thirty minutes, but most people are back on board long before that.

Afraid not. Have to order from waiters or at the bar.

Thanks that looks easy to use. Similar to the P&O 'App' which also works on the ships network. I understand you can also access the features via the touch screen terminals on the ship.
Â
A related question is about the safety drill, do you need the app for this?
In June, on the Discovery, no. Straight into the show lounge to watch the safety drill, on a constant loop. Directed out to deck four to be shown lifeboat station and then card scanned.

Apparently, the ship sailed on Wednesday morning.

How reliable this is, but just been informed Masks have been discarded from the 1st September.
Hopefully, this is the case.🤞

Most definitely. After many years of wearing a tux, I've now downgraded to shirt and tie. Much more comfortable.

Just found out that cruises from Newcastle go on sale from Wednesday the fifth of May. The first cruise is a three night cruise on July tenth. Will be having a close look for August for my wife's birthday. Stay safe everyone.

Have finally decided to book a Princess cruise around the UK in October. Ten nights, balcony cabin on deck 15, includes drinks package, all tips and WiFi. All for just over£3300 for the two of us. Bargain, if it goes ahead. I know it's from Southampton, and it'll be a bit of a pain to get there from Yorkshire, but I can't wait. Have already started looking at YouTube videos of the ship.
Keep safe everyone.

Would happily do a round Britain cruise. Have looked at Fred, and am now waiting for P and O and Princess to release details. Would still prefer a Marella cruise though. Keep safe everyone. We seem to have light at the end of the tunnel.

It certainly is.

Hi all, I've tried several times to log onto my booking for August 4th cruise, but each time it says there is a technical error and to go back to the previous page. Still not had any message from Marella saying cruise is cancelled. It would be nice if they had the courtesy to do that. On a different note, have now been waiting for 53 days for a refund of over £4000 from Virgin Holidays for cancelled April cruise.
-
Our cruise date was the 4th of August, but no email yet to tell us it's cancelled. But, funnily enough, we got an email requesting balance payment the day before they made the cancellation announcement.

It seems that Celebration has left with immediate effect. Ted James, cruise director with Marella, has just posted his goodbyes. Sad to see her go. Many happy memories of her, alongside her sister ship, Spirit.

My last cruise was a Transatlantic cruise from Naples to Barbados on Explorer 2 in October. Lovely cruise. I was supposed to be coming back today from a Norwegian Bliss cruise departing from New York to the Bahamas. No personal communication at all from them regarding cancellation. Keep safe everybody.

If I remember correctly, when we sailed from Jamaica last winter, the immigration form asked for the date of departure. Cabin crew had said to date it for two weeks time. However, Jamaican immigration wanted it dating for the same day as arrival, as we were leaving on the ship that day. Added a little more time to the lengthy wait to get through immigration.

Son Matthias Beach is a good choice, and very popular with cruise goers. We stayed there a few years ago. Very nice, and right on the beach. Busses to Palma right outside the front door.

No South America, according to the on board magazine, which have all been removed from cabins. I had asked when the American cruises would be on sale, pointing out that I had posted on Cruise Critic about them. Supposed to be hush, hush until official brochure launch. Oops.

On board Explorer two. Looked at magazine in the cabin to find that in 2021 they will be home porting in Port Canaveral. Excited, to say the least.
-
Only by the glass, I'm afraid. However, the staff will top you up as often as you like.
-
Booked the Transatlantic in June 2018. Upgraded at the time, as the much greater choice suits us. Also includes premium coffee from the coffee port and bottled water in you cabin.
-
We are also on this cruise. My wife says that, officially, there is nothing happening. However, there is a Facebook group which is planning a Halloween meet up event. She is getting her costume ready as I speak. This will be our fourth Transatlantic cruise, and we can't wait.

We too are joining this cruise. It's our fourth TA crossing, but got to admit, dreading arriving into Naples airport after all the negative feedback.

Just back from Discovery Two. No pink gin, even on the Premium Package.
What am I forgetting!

The temporary boarding pass available in cruise control. We needed it in June. After safety drill, we received our plastic cruise cards.
