Since this is first time would definitely suggest one of the mayan ruins trips the one up the river is fun see monkey's in trees. The one to xunantunich does take a while on bus but you do see a lot of the country side and ruins are great. You stop on the way back for local food lunch.

I only usually buy stuff that is not available in states. Price therefore usually not a factor. Brand is.

Bought a red one last trip on Elation good quality and sized right. Fact was wearing it today.

If you have never done stingrays its worth it at least once. Google grand Cayman excursions can probably find that with a beach time.

Can agree with most, have been to Nachi a bunch of times. Always enjoyed ourselves. Go on their website and reserve your day also can see whats there. Food was good and like other poster stated waiter even brought drinks to us while we were in the water. Going to be in cozumel in march and going back again.

Go on book it. Sounds like you have the the cruising culture figured out. I have been on Summit and to Bermuda but not in years. We did love the Summit then and it has been upgraded since. Also loved Bermuda would go back in an instant. Don't pay attention to all the naysayers go with an open mind and enjoy.

We did a southern cruise out of San Juan and stayed at a small boutique hotel in the Coronado section. It was At Windchimes Inn. Hotel was a restored older building but was great had open air bar and restaurant and could walk to beach. We went a couple days eary and they arranged trip to Rain Forrest and other places. Would go back in an instant. Look up on web.

Posted
Don't remember any beaches close to pier in St Kitts but beach and shopping within 20 minute walk or take water ferry from dock in St. Maarten. You will see it when docked.
