If you do Florence and Pisa with Tuscany bus company still good but a bit of a rush particularly in pisa (I'd choose Florence only)

Did you end up booking with Shorbee? I did book the Naples tour and it was because it took me to the 3 places I wanted to go. I can cancel up to 4 days before tour. This is making be nervous!
Yes..we went with shorebee..the trip all went smoothly and we had a good time

I'm sure you can use the coffee machine to just boil water (you could on the Epic last year)

Couldn't disagree moreThere are hardly any drinking venues onboard the epic. They are always closed unless they are open for a show. The comedy club/piano lounge was closed if it wasn't in use. We really struggled to get a seat anywhere when we were onboard in 2015. They really need a spinnaker lounge on the top deck to take the edge off.We were on the Epic during last summer's school holidays and the ship was full (they had a sign up on customer services desk stating no upgrades available as the ship was fully occupied)
The only time we had to wait more than a few minutes for a drink was at the pool bar during sea days. Then we had typically a 5 min wait.
There were always numerous bars open and most were reasonably quiet.
It was probably my favourite thing about the Epic that you could always find a bar to suit whether you wanted a quiet beer or a cocktail with a band in the background.

All the places you are going are v tourist orientated and thus you're unlikely to wear or do anything that would offend
Dress for comfort..it could be warm bordering on hot
We did exactly same cruise last year (but in August) and it's fantastic

Run in the gym..the running machines in there are v good and you've got a much better viewIts not a full loop but you can go back and forth. The Epic is a pretty big ship so its fairly long. Sometimes you are running beside fantastic views and then behind life boats. It works but not the most glamourous trackSent from my SM-G930F using Forums mobile app

Will the regatta cause any delays in getting out of venice/getting to the airport

Out ships arrives in Venice at 08.00
We have 2 options of flights..12.25 from Marco polo or 21.15 from treviso
We would prefer the earlier flight but would we have enough time to disembark and get to the airport?
How much/quick is a land taxi from the terminal to the airport?
What's the likelihood of the ship docking late (it leaves split at 17.00 the night before)?
If we're pushed for time we might be swayed to the later flight from treviso (which I know is further away)..in this case we'd store our bags for the day and head into Venice. I've found baggage storeage at piazzale Roma but is there any at the cruise terminal?
Thanks

We are considering these cabins..cant really stretch to 2 cabins or mini suite.I'll second that!" Sideway's" Type do feel roomie.
Check out the Obstructed view sideway's on deck 8.
We managed comfortably last year in a balcony on the Epic.. Just a shame there's not more affordable balcony cabins for 4 on this ship

Just a quick additional query..the price for obstructed ocean view is only a bit more than inside cabins.
Both mid ship..both on same floor
Obstructed view bit bigger 159 v 142 sq ft and also some natural daylight
What would u choose?

Think star leaves at 5pm so no probs there
Rain doesn't bother us that much..we get plenty at home so we're used to it

When all 4 beds are up are the ocean view rooms any different?

Thanks..guess there's not a lot of floor space when the beds are upNote that for insides on the Star other than the newer rooms on 12 they will have one bed on the wall for pax 3 and a popup bed to make wall to wall beds on the floor for pax 4.Sent from my SM-G930F using Forums mobile app

If there is any difference, I am yet to spot it.
I think it’s more down to location than anything.

Good to know thanks..means I'll choose a cabin based on location rather than the fact it's got family in the title

We're just about to book a summer 18 cruise out of Venice and I'm looking at what room grade to choose.
We're going for either an inside or ocean view picture window cabin. There is the option of a 'standard' room in this category or a family version. What is the difference?
As far as I can see the room plan, size , cost is the same and both can accommodate 4 people (which we need)

Like the sound of thisAfter walking the walls around the city in Dubrovnik, check out the Buza bar - it’s on a terraced area on the cliff just outside the city wall. You literally walk through a hole in the wall to get to it. It’s very casual, with lovely outdoor seating overlooking the sea. It’s just a great chill place to hang out.Sent from my iPad using Forums

We are looking at cruising croatia next summer and we're just comparing a few itineraries.
Some options only have 6hrs in Dubrovnik compared to 8hrs. Obviously the longer the better but would 6hrs be enough for a taster?
Another option has 10hrs in kotor. Is this too long?
Finally the itineraries vary with some being in Dubrovnik/kotor early morning to early afternoon whereas other options are docked early afternoon to evening. Which option would be best?
Thanks

Stairs can be used to pretty much anywhere and we only used lifts on arrival and departure due to heavy luggage
