Haven't quite decided what to do at this port. Other ports I remember walking off the ship and having tons of choices and tours being offered right outside the port.

I thought I read somewhere that Barbados doesn't allow this.

And that if I want to do something, I have to arrange it beforehand. Is this true? Are there no groups/tours/people wanting my business when I get off the ship? Must be a quiet port if that's true!

Will be going zipping at TreeTop in January after doing a lot of research about the 3 different zip lining places in St Lucia. My parents are coming with us on the cruise and they have expressed an interest in going zipping as well. They are in their late 60's and I'm just not sure they could handle if it it's a lot of walking and ladder climbing etc.

Anyone have experience with TreeTop and how much walking is required for the tour?

Was our first cruise on our honeymoon in 1989. Paid a ton for that cruise! We had a cabin up in the very very front, and the floor was slanted upwards and the beds were shorter on one side to compensate for the slanted floor. It was our honeymoon and the beds could not be put together-separate beds. We LOVED the cruise! We thought the ship was so HUGE and elegant!

Wife and I just got back last week from Caribbean NCL Pearl and had a great time.

Whole family (4 kids) will be going on the Splendor Jan 16. We will be in rooms 2220 and 2218. 2220 was priced at inside but had an obstructed porthole so should be interesting to see what it's like.
