Hi
We are thinking of booking MSC Preziosa for Dec cruise. Generally we get drinks package if it comes at good price (we don't drink, so predominantly use for soda/coffee/water etc).
At the moment MSC have not offered any special deal for drinks package, was wondering if don't buy drinks package - can we still get "Free" water in MDR for lunch/dinner?
We will be embarking from Southampton.

Hi
Can we plug in hard drive to in cabin TV using HDMI cable & watch?
We will need unused hdmi port in tv & remote should have option to change input from regular tv to hdmi 2 or something.
We save lots of videos for our son & than can play on big screen for him.
Thanks

Does anyone know which slot machines are on NCL Epic?
Any website which can tell which slot machines are on which cruise ships?
Thanks

Not sure how you got a check in that late but when we boarded at around 11:30 there was no line at all.
Not sure either, this cruise was booked more than a year ago & we are gold members 😲

Hi all
We are looking to buy non alcohlic drinks package, few questions
- Can we buy that on board & do we have to buy child package? (Our little boy dont drink any sodas or hot choc - online buying drinks package is forcing us to buy for additional child package)
- Costa coffee on board included in drinks package, is that like costa on land or not as good as costa on land?
- lastly can we pay to guest services cash payment for onboard expenses like drinks package (got small savings in our piggy bank from shopping trips)
Thank you

Thank you all, will probably try to park around airport & cab to port than

Don't know if it's the same price for every cruise but my 7 night in May which still has the ship showing as Grandiosa(although it will now be Virtuosa) has it available in the planner for £82pp. I think it was the same for our 7 night earlier this year, I do know it's much more expensive if you leave it to book onboard.
Thank you, we will try to book online & not on board.

We are booking 16th Dec Grandiosa cruise from Barcelona.
Can anyone help, either we can book aurea package (that will come with thermal area admission) or get fantastica package which is nearly £400 cheaper & buy two passes for thermal area on board (We are gold status on MSC)?
Does anyone know cost of Thermal area passes on Grandiosa for 7 day cruise?

Hey Catlady, I hope you will have good time.
We will be cruising on 22nd Aug, one question - we will be coming from London UK 4 days prior to cruise. Do we need to pay for test or can we get free test in seattle? (all vaccinated guests)

We are family of 3 (Us & 6 year old little one). Usually we fly to Miami for Christmas cruise, because of rising costs, planning to do european cruise.
We are looking at 2 options:
MSC Preziosa from Southampton. Pros - guess it will have food catered for UK resident needs with curries once a day, Southampton is 1.5hours drive for us, so easy to commute to. Cons: Ports we have visited few times
MSC Grandiosa. Pros New Ship, New Ports for us, Cons - Worried about food that it might be too much leaning towards Mediterranean side.
What will fellow cruisers suggest?

Thanks alot, i couldnt find decent link on youtube with detailed spa pass inclusions & exclusions.

Hi,
We are looking to book spa pass for a week in spa area.
Can't find any information about thermal area or what's included?
Thanks

We are UK based family with 5 year old unvaccinated son. Currently gov has not offered vaccine for our son. Myself & wife are triple vaccinated with booster shots.
Anyone on RC ship - please let us know if kids club are open for unvaccinated kids?
Also during Christmas cruising we found out MSc allowed us to go on port (on port days) while our son was in kids club for couple of hours, where as carnival didn't allow unvaccinated kids in kids club at all (there kids club was empty).
So in case if kids club undertake unvaccinated kids, can we go on port for 1 or 2 hours?
Thanks

If you need a test to return home, Carnival is not testing. You'll need to find another source.
I did read in other thread carnival are not providing testing option.
Hopefully they can take our 5 year old in child care though.
We have bought 3 binax now proctored kits - the day we reach miami (hopefully early morning) - we will do out tests in ship & than set for shopping before flying back to UK.

We are on the Divina for Jan. 9 2022 sailing and guess what. Just got our cruise docs. YES ITS REAL. They came in email last night. Printed them out and wife and I just looked at them and grinned at each other. I guess this is really going to happen after all. The docs still show George Town. Guess we find out when we get there if we will get to the port. Only negative I had was our embarkation time is 3:00 PM. I called to see about an earlier time but they said it was computer generated and could not be changed. I really dont believe that but what ever. We are in premium balcony with fantasia so we are supposed to have priority boarding with this room so those perks might not be as good as they advertise. Anyone have any luck with getting embarkation time changed. We are flying in the day before so we will have alot of time to kill.
We were embarking on MSC Virtuosa from Southampton in summer, our embarkation time was 4.30pm, ship was suppose to sail at 5pm. I called them to query, they told me ignore embarkation time & try to be there between 11am to 1pm.

Actually, testing is required and free for any B2B on MSC. I think the OP was asking about the PCR test because they are doing a side B2B (MSC to Carnival), in which case they would have to pay for it. As fro your specific question. People who have done Seashore B3B already have said the test is mandatory.
Agreed, If I knew we will have so many issues probably would have not done b2b (already booked another b2b in april with NCL & RC 😐 - another mistake made months ago when no testing/vaccine protocols were in place)
Thanks again for all info
