Ok so i was checking emails and saw an article in a recent msc newsletter about this new msc programme. It looks great! Has anyone used this yet? Does anyone know if its in effect now? I would like to take advantage of the offers next month whilst onboard.

I note many med sailings next year have palermo as a stop. Has anyone stopped at palermo recently? How did you find it? My DH raised concerns about stopping there given the refugee situation. Not sure if he is worried about nothing...

Ideally i think we only want/need 2 or 3 printed photos taken by the onboard photographers. However the pre-pay deal for 100 photos seems amazing value! What would 2 or 3 photos cost onboard? Thanks

I think you have to buy a thermal spa pass...unless you have a package that includes it (eg aurea experience). On the piesia next month too! Cant wait!

Thanks marazul. Yes been to venice before. Years ago with hubby..young and in love. We vowed to have children and bring them to venice one day. Back to reality in 2017 (record scratch noise)...we are bringing them to venice for a few hours! If we had much longer i would brave san marco for sure. Im worried we will get distracted too much and miss our bus to Treviso. I will talk to hubby about leaving the ship earlier by keeping our luggage. That could be an option that gives us some time to venture to San marco...

Yes flying from Treviso in the very late afternoon, but on a bus from Piazzale Roma to Treviso at 1pm so we arrived in good time 2.5 hours before the flight.

I have seen or heard about over 15 examples now of the 5% credit being applied after booking, but not sure which are those are in the UK or not. If anyone has had any recent success in the UK, I would be delighted to hear!

I can't find any publication anywhere about this "24-hour after booking" rule. Ah well, we will see how things turn out....

MSC have declined to give me the 5% credit saying I can only get it within 24 hrs of booking! My TA is taking this up. This isnt fair really when I have read on this and other forums about people getting the 5% credit after booking abd even after final payment!

I have applied for MSC to match my Disney Cruise silver status. I called MSC (uk) at the weekend for general information about the 5% credit and was told that i can only get it within 24 hours of booking. I told them this is not what has been reported by other MSC cruisers who confirm they got the 5% after booking . I am speaking to the status match team today to clarify. I want my 5% credit!!

My 2 boys will be 9 and 7 when we cruise. Juniors club i think. What did your children think of this club? Did they do the language or cooking classes too? Cant tell if those classes are part of the kids club or separate activities...

On my upcoming cruise i would love to treat myself to a facial. Do they offer specials on board for this single treatment ( i dont think i have the budget for a multi treatment package!)? I can pre pay £49 for a 55 minute facial. Have you guys seen this treatment offered cheaper on board? I know there is no guarantee of specials being the same on different ships at different times! I just want to get an idea if it is worth taking a gamble and waiting for a special deal on board or not.

We are booked on MSC Poesia with the Aurea package. Id love to hear what others have thought of this package.

Can you choose any massage or is it strictly the balinese one that you get free?

I read that on the MSC website that you get some toilettries in the package, but read in forums that people got a room diffuser - what do you get?

On the MSC website it says you have anytime dining in a reserved part of the restaurant. Does that mean a certain part of the restaurants is for aurea people or you get to choose your table? Can you eat in either of the two restaurants?
