Going on the Reflection soon and was wondering if you here anything from the fitness room above, looks like it might be under the Aerobics room

Planning a trip possible on the Reflection to the ABC islands

Never cruised on Celebrity before (done 10x on NCL & 3 on RCCL)

Any advise on wheelchair accessibility (manual chair)

Thinking of trying Celebrity, and the Reflection looks good for 2025 to Aruba

Cruised on NCL ( 10x) and Royal (2x) before

I see good reviews and some bad

We are not big foodies, go to some shows and enjoy the islands

what is your Opinion of this ship compared to the other lines

Went on Harmony last October and My Time Dining was a joke

had to go to the desk to see if we could get a set time, they told us to use the app which only showed openings after 9:00. But after a bit of complaining we had a set time at the last couple of  days. But not as convenient as it should be to eat

Room 9172, balcony room

Just got back from Royal Harmony of the Seas

I am a paraplegic using a WC fulltime for 30+ yrs (11 cruises)

whoever layed out the bathroom does not have a clue about what is needed

The grab bars are too tall and I am 6ft-1, they put a phone on the wall 2" over the grab bar right where you would brab to transfer onto the toilet

The floor has such a pitch that you need to hold on or put your brakes on so you dont smash into the wall or shower (while at dock)

No grab bar that folds down in front of you in the shower

They placed the mount for the hand held shower head right where you adjust the temperature, so one wrong move and you either freeze or get really hot water

and if you go to Cococay be prepared not to get close to any ocean as they only have a loop that is paved unless you want to leave yhour chair unattended and go off in a beach wheelchair , all the rest of the island you need to go thru the sand to get anywhere

Just a heads up for Harmony cruisers

Was not impressed with the ship, it is big, but had many small spaces for so many people

Liked the Bliss much better

NCL has a more variety in the Buffet, Royal has better desserts

Needed reservations for everything, even My Time Dining, which I did not understand

I know to avoid the buffet on boarding day, looked at a few videos of thew ship looks like a many places to eat.

Where do you go to avod the crowds on Harmony?

I have never done this on Royal only NCL

Does it work in the same way

Get up early and get in line with your luggage?

I always buy the travel insurance thru the cruise line

Have not been on RCCL in 10 yrs

I already paid the deposit 6 months ago and the final payment is soon, can I purchase it then

I was able to book  a HC room on Deck 9

Can you wait to buy the insurance and prepay gratuities later

Of course I procrastinated and now there are only deck 6 HC rooms available

Still I a bit nervous about noise 

I meant old since I have not sailed on RCl since 2010 on the Explorer of the Seas and on deck 6 the balcony was steel

Looking into going on the Harmony of the Seas

Never been on this class ship before and am looking at Ocean View Balcony Handicapped rooms, midship, and they have decks 6,9,10 & 11 available

Any opinions? I know older ships maybe the balcony changes (closed verses glass) or noise considerations

I normally cruise with NCL but the time and place I will like to take a cruise nothing appeals to me but RCCl has a few options

I have not cruised with RCCL since 2010

I see they ask for a larger non refundable deposit than NCL

How long before the sail date do you have to pay in full?

Looking to see if any cruises peak my interest and I see they have multiple cruises going to Bermuda In Febuary & March

Who would want to do that?

Not the best time of the year to go to Bermuda

I was just comparing what I paid before and the costs now are more, I always book far in advance and around the same time and type of room. I am glad I made you laugh

Looked at booking a cruise in the future, only the deposit to worry about

Even with all the "FREE" stuff It seems the prices are very high

Used to get a nice balcony room (even a aft cabin) for about  $3200, now on some dummy bookings I was looking at $4200 - 5200

Not too sure of the future of cruising, but they need to make some better deals then try to sell you on the FREE stuff that still costs you 3-$400 added to the room

Went on the Sun in March, did not like it

Ship is not laid out very well

Buffet was tiny, even for a small ship, Not a lot of variety

Food in the Sports bar was bad

Food in the main dining room was good

Our room had a lot of issues, toilet stopped working, took 3 days to fix air conditioner, bathroom flooded every time you took a shower

Been on a few cruises, am not hard to please but this was the worst

If your vehicle has a lift or hand controls, or specifically modified for your disability parking is free at the port, youi just have to prove your modification and fill out some forms
