I have a similar question my 11 yr old

son have cruised with Carnival and Disney.He has sailed with me alone since 3.He has a passport and I have never needed documentation from his father.The last cruise was December 2015.Have things changed? MSC says they won't need anything but will customs?TIA

Thanks for the information. I want to take my son the Maho beach when we get there but $30 is pretty steep each way. Was that total the cost pp?

No vendor at the Old San Juan beach at all, so pack your own water/snack/towel. There is a CVS or Walgreens? right at the pier if you need some get some stuff.

 

We been to ST. Martin several times, this time we just took taxi to Moho ($30 each way) to watch the airplanes, the sand is good at Moho, but again crazy wave there. Sunset bar near by has a small pool($5 fee pp), we let the kids playing in the pool for a while before we get back to the ship. In St. Martin, there is a beach in walk in distance too if you don't want to go too far. We found many sea shell at that beach before. My First time there, we did Bernard Tour II, that was good too that you get to see a bit of everything on the island.

Thanks for the great review and videos. The Rainforest Excursion booked with the ship is the one I am debating. Do you know if they got a chance to get out and really get a feel of the rainforest such as hiking and being able to go out and get in or see the water falls and the look out? Any info on this excursion is appreciated it!

Thanks Natalie I am wondering if the ship excursion is going to give us a guide to explain the different things we will see as well as an opportunity to swim in the waterfalls. If you would when you return in April share your experience and pictures?

With MSC . All private companies today charge same or almost same as cruise line it's not like 15 years ago when you can get excursion in half price. We book from cruise line now or just take a taxi to destination we need.

Thanks! Were you guys able to get pics of the waterfalls, did you get to hike through the rainforest. Did you have time to take a dip in the waterfalls. Sorry I'm full of questions. I just want to make sure before I book with MSC that we will get the full experience of the rainforest.

I am going in May also. I was looking at going but thought we wouldn't have a lot of time to explore. Was thinking about renting a car as well but was afraid to go alone!

Wow That was early. I have been debating booking a 9:00 am flight from MIA. How were you able to get off the ship so early?

Do you mind sharing how you felt about the Divina especially the food and service?

Both my boys liked it. They only went a couple times and once it was down. I liked the roller coaster (though that's the only one I did)! We were by ourselves each time.
