  1. Yes, we had been checking it during the cruise. Just a little surprised when I checked at the Airport and it was all gone! Next time I'll do a screenshot.
  2. Just returned from our first Princess cruise and realized that all of the billing data on our Medallion App and on the website has disappeared. Is there a way to get this? I expected something like when you check out of a hotel. We did use a TA, does this make a difference?
  3. We walked through the area to check it out. My issue was the view. Don't like seeing Glacier Bay through tinted glass.
  4. I had the same thoughts, however we were talking with others who had made the trip before so had something to compare to. They were saying while the time in the park may have been about the same, the time at the glaciers was less. And it also sounded like they may have seen more of the park. My first time there so really can't comment first hand.
  5. Just off the 28th sailing. We were passed several times and late to even the delayed revised times. At one point the engines completely stopped in Glacier Bay until they could get the electricians to the engine room. Crown has a problem. Cancelled and limited time in Port. I was just glad they got the engines restarted. As the captain said. They are working for now! Makes you wonder if the captain thinks they should be on the water???
  6. Just off the 28th. Did here a couple of problems but nothing major. We were midship on 10 and there were no odors or problems. A few reports of hot water issues. We had hot water in the shower but not in the sink. Not a major problem.
  7. I am not upset with Princess for having mechanical issues or changing the itinerary. I am upset that they kept telling me the excursions I had booked were not canceled and were being rescheduled until it was too late for me to make changes. The itinerary changes should have been handled better for at least the 21st and 28th departures. Maybe the 7th and 14th could be considered learning experiences.
  8. I have never been on Princess but will be on the Crown Princess tomorrow headed to ???? The mechanical issues and their impact are unfortunate. The handling of the situation by Princess was very poor. I knew there were problems but was continually told my excursions were not canceled until the day after I could make changes. I feel I was lied to. Unless the next week is extraordinary I can't imagine ever booking or recommending Princess. To be clear, this is not because of their problems but their handling of them.
  9. I would agree IF this were some unforeseen problem. Not when they knew weeks in advance the itinerary could not be met but chose not to say anything until the day before. They let me book $1000 in shore excursions they knew I couldn't take and withheld information I could have used to book viable excursions. This was a decision on their part, not anything else!
  10. I agree. If they could stick with itinerary they are posting for our cruise on the 28th we would be happy, but waiting till the last minute to break bad news you knew all along is bad business. I hope it goes as planned but have my doubts and can't do much but wait and see.
  11. You would know we are mid deck 10 near the elevators with a wife that can smell everything!
  12. We are headed out on the 28th when you get back. Any update on how they have handled the schedule change impact on shore excursions? I'm concerned we will get the last minute email as well.

  14. With the recent itinerary changes on the Crown Princess I'm sure many are facing the same confusion we are. The delay in arrival to Juneau was after the time of departure for the Taku Lodge. However within a couple of days it showed rescheduled for after our arrival. However just downloaded the Travel docs and noticed it no longer has times and the description has Xld at the end? Although we still showed confirmed. Via chat they said don't worry they are working to reschedule. We leave on the 28th. Should we be concerned? Any other people going through this?

  16. We are on the 28th. On the website Juneau is listed on itinerary. On JourneyView on the app, Juneau no longer appears? What do you show??
  17. Thx. It still doesn't seem to take my Sametime reservation however if I book individual days they show up. Probably best anyway as it works better with our schedule.
  18. OK, first sorry if this question is already answered a dozen times. My search skills are apparently lacking! Trying to book dining on the app for same time every day. I go through the process, pick a time and hit confirm. All seems to go good. However I can't find any reference to my reservation. When I go back to the option to view and make changes, nothing is listed. Also thought it would show on my JourneyView, but nothing there. Shouldn't it appear somewhere?? Thx
  19. I'm reading that Canada has not approved the rail excursions into Canada. Obviously some rail excursions don't enter Canada and should be OK. Some on the list still appear to go into Canada but transfer to a bus. Is it safe to assume any listed excursions are still possible with the restriction on border crossing via rail??? I don't want to book something that is later canceled!
