Getting ready to leave this Saturday on the Joy out of Miami. Weather for sail away is looking pretty yucky. Thinking observation lounge would be a good place for the sail away - we usually do the deck party. Plan to explore the ship, but is there anything you would recommend? Sailing with two teenage girls who are not interested in the Entourage Club.

Cruising on NCL out of Miami in a few weeks. Going to rent a car one-way to get home after the cruise. Only options that aren’t sold out are airport locations. Would you recommend MIA or FLL for the pickup and what’s the best way to get there - family of 4. Thanks

Hi, everyone - debating on one-way rental cars with shuttle to port or driving my car and parking at the cruise port. Rental car prices are pretty cheap so it may be a better deal. I see the going rate for parking at the port is $22 per day in Miami. If going on a week long cruise (Saturday-Saturday), are you paying for 8 days of parking or 7? Is there tax added or is it a flat $22? Thanks so much!

Sorry if this has been asked before - I tried searching and couldn't find what I was looking for. Two questions regarding the FAS plus 1. Is the 2 extra specialty dining per person or total? I'm looking to see if I have 8 dining credits total or 6. 2. When on the ship, if I make a reservation for 4 to a restaurant will they use 4 credits or just 2. I wasn't able to add specialty dining for my kids, but we want to take them to Teppanyaki. Thanks so much 🙂

Thanks - I do not see any shore excursions for the Joy that will return 12/23.

Cruising on the Joy in December and looking at possibly flying to the port instead of driving. Flights home wouldn't leave until after 6pm. I checked the NCL website and do not see any post-cruise shore excursions available - is this not a thing? Anyone have suggestions on what to do besides sitting in the airport all day? mizLORInj - I used a travel agent as well and have an OBC for my upcoming cruise. The TA says the OBC has already been ordered - do you know where I can find this on the carnival website? Is there a way for me to verify that it's there before I sail? Thanks!

Has anyone cruised in this room or 5341 since they updated the couches? The old couch looks like the bedding was very large, but from pictures I've seen it looks much smaller with the new couches. Have this room book in June with two teenage girls and hoping the bed setup will be big enough for them.

I’ve watched a lot of the videos and only a couple show the room when the couch is made into the sleeping arrangements. And - it looks different pre and post updates. Hoping someone on here has sailed fairly recently in one of these rooms and can provide a little insight on the couch sleeping size. Thanks

Hello, everyone! We will be sailing on the Sunshine and have booked room 5340 - first time sailing in a suite and excited for it! I'm a little worried about being at the back of the ship as we always book a mid-ship room, but we are prepared for any seasickness. My question is - has anyone recently sailed in either 5340 or 5341 on the Sunshine and have information about the couch setup for sleeping? I have two teenage daughters and am curious as to how large a sleeping area this will be - full, queen, king size? I've seen some pictures from searches, but most are much older picture, and some look like it's big and others make it look smaller. Thanks so much :)
