Hello - we have been booking shore excursions for our “Magic of the Mediterranean” cruise in June. In Villefranche, we are interested in a couple of tours offered on Trip Advisor (thru a company called “Hire & Tours” that has a 5* rating.) They are “Shared Tour to Discover the Pearls of the French Riviera Full Day” and “Full Day Tour Medieval Villages Grasse Gourdon Tourettes St Paul.” Both are $99/ pp for a full day tour!
The problem is that these tours (particularly the “Pearls” tour) are 8/9 hours, slightly too long for the time we have in port (8-5). The tour guide/owner of the company said that if we could fill a van (7 passengers max) with OOSTERDAM passengers, he would arrange the tour to fit our time schedule and interests. 🙂
It sounds like he’s a wonderful guide, possibly a university prof (?) with a great deal of historical, cultural knowledge on these locations that he loves to share.
So I thought I would post this in hopes that some of our fellow passengers might be interested:)! Pls let me know if you are! Looking forward to cruising with you all in June!
