  1. DW and I are sailing Carnival Horizon May 19th. Does anyone know if the Pixel Photo package is available in Digital or just prints. Have been on many a cruise looking threw the prints, looking of my smiling face. I know on the Celebration we could see them in the app. Hope someone who sailed recently on Horizon knows.

Thanks! Looked it up and it is considered mid but closer to the aft end. It's not available on our cruise. Will probably book floor 7 or 8 aft then. We are doing the Southern Caribbean cruise out of Miami as well to the ABC islands. Thanks for your help!

I would go (and i did) book deck 7 middle. No noise of other deck activities or imax. nothing but room above. Just stay await from elevators and stair wells which i am sure you know.

Enjoy your pick where ever it is

It was real I’d I was thinking of not enhanced license. I guess my main concern was rather they actually needed a passport. I never travel without one so wanted to let them know to get one if that was the case.

Just be aware that when debarking the ship there are twp lines to clear customs. 1 for passport people and 1 for ALL Others. The passport line was 1/5 the line of the other and we where able to clear customs a LOT quicker. I'll bring mine for this reason alone when we sail Venezia in Aug.

  4. What happens to the people who work in the buffet area where you may eat, Guys burgers or pizza place people. I believe they all share in you gratuities. Don't these people also deserve part of the fund you are going to withhold ? Just saying your choice.

We have "free" cabins on both ships, cruising in December. Not Christmas.  Those that have been on both, help me decide.  It's our 23 carnival cruise and have not been on either of these ships yet!!  Freedom is a 5 day and Vista is a 6 day.

    Please advise, Thank you

Vista just came out of dry dock. All shinny and new

They are still a thing and I was recently able to use a $50 spa gift card towards a $65 manicure. I'd neve pay that much for a manicure normally, but for $15 (plus the gratuity) it wasn't bad.

Nice to hear there getting used on occasion as i usually toss them in the circular file

Mine knows what cruises interests me and knows what time of year I cruise. When she runs across a good deal she sends it. Normally a few weeks before the cruise she sends really nice luggage tag holders with a metal cable type ring that holds them. Last cruise she sent a $50 Visa card. Some cruises she gets our gratuities paid or specialty restaurant. It pays to have a great PVP. I've never seen her but she has become a friend over the years.

    WoW nice to Hear !!

ya nope no offers either those come from the Players Club mostly. Although in fairness to the original question posted i was surprised by my PVP once when he called after i requested a new PVP.

Had to issue a wake up call. Shame this is what it took.

It's possible. Same for the cabanas. We are going to HMC on the Vista in April,  and there are still over 10 of the regular cabanas remaining. They have been available for almost a year. They used to sell out quickly. $700 is just too much for most people,  including us. 😎

Be awaiting your review of the Vista out of dry dock. Trying to decide if i want to book a sailing on her for March of 2025. Some time planning that far out hurts my head.

It would come out of their pocket.

I guess that's nice to know. He has been Outstanding and there for any other need we have ever had. Won't ever book unless threw him even though online available. Casino Dept has more leeway it looks and sounds like.

  11. We have been using our PVP at Carnival for years. Over 16 bookings threw him. He has been Outstanding all threw covid and the cruise ship dance and cancellations for those times. Re bookings and making sure we always had our cruise credits. Never once though have we ever received anything in our cabin from him, not cookies, wine or fruit  basket. Are PVP's allowed to give gifts to their clients ? The only reason i bring this up is DW won a Carnival cruise threw a casino we go to and the booking had to go threw the casino dept and not my regular PVP. The person in the casino dept who did our booking also said they where going to have something extra sent to our room. Now maybe the casino dept has this flexibility. So i ask has any ones PVP done some thing extra for them ?
