Have a 4 generation cruise in 2 weeks on Celebration, my daughter made t shirts for all from 18 month great granddaughter to 84 year old grandpa, wearing them for embarkation day!  In all my 20+ cruises this matching cruise shirt thing will be a first for me!

Yes that's what where doing with 3 generation. Hoping the embarkation photo makes it all worth while. Although the grand kids were Very Excited to get their shirts. Now i just have to my sure they have them in 35 days.

  2. DW and I are sailing along with our two Grand children and daughter. We are sailing on the Venezia out of NY on the 19th of June. I (Grampy) had 2 different cruise t-shirts made for Everyone. I want our embarkation photo to be in one of the shirts that say family cruise on it. Just wondering if i am acting over the top? It's the Grand Kids first cruise. ( yes i booked us the Dr. Suess breakfast as well)

Ahoy, Cruise Critic Family! My beautiful wife Patti and I have just returned after another cruise adventure. This time we sailed aboard the new, big, and beautiful Carnival Celebration, on a seven-day cruise to Cozumel, Costa Maya, and Mahogany Bay.

How many of you got to sail on the original Celebration? I sailed on her when she was brand new in 1987. The last time I sailed on her was in 2005 with Patti and our boys. I’m feeling nostalgic today, so here are a few pictures from that cruise for old times sake. We’ve come a long way in the last eighteen years!

Does anybody know when the other dining options will be released.  We are cruising on June 19 and the only 2 specialty dining options is Steakhouse and Teppanyaki 9we booked both of them already) - I know they are adding other restaurants but not showing on my planner.

See you on the 19th. Looking forward to dining options myself

Just booked a fall cruise from NY on the Venezia. Can someone that has cruised on this ship give me some details? Have sailed mostly out of Mobile, Port Canaveral and Jacksonville. How is the port? Is it a mid-size ship? Did I read it was refurbished? Any tips would be appreciated. Just my husband and I going.

    TIA

We are all awaiting word on the refurbishment. Was a Costa cruise ship that Carnival is bringing to NY after they make some changes. First sailing is June 15th ( other then the transatlantic bring her to America ). Awaiting photos and info from those that sail on her early. I am booked on her 2nd sailing on June 19th and will be sharing what i see. Can't wait as 50 days to go.

  7. We are sailing on the Carnival Venezia in June this year. We had ordered and paid for 2 mermaid sling back bags and beach towels for the Grand kids along with other items. The sling back bags & towels no longer show in our order history. How does Carnival reimburse us for the cost of these items ? Have looked at the credit card statements and not seen a credit posted yet. Don't know long items have been removed as it was just noticed on 4/25. I don't see an OBC posted on my sailing either.

I already saw this but as I mentioned I already have $250 obc, so I should be good right?

yes you will be good to start off. remember the gratuities get added the second to last night and depending on your cruise length they might put you over your limit. Plus if you don't want to be one of the people getting paged over the speaker keep an eye on your folio account amount.

  9. Going to be interesting cruise in June. DW and i are platinum and our daughter and Grand children are not. Grand kids first cruise and daughters 3rd. We have 2 rooms and and a platinum member booked each one so i believe everyone will enjoy early boarding and priority tenders on HMC. Yes the last few cruises we have had to stop at different locations to pickup our platinum benefits.

Thank you, phoneman69! I just checked my sailing and it opened up for Dr. Suess Green Eggs and Ham breakfast for our 12/10/23 sailing. I had just checked this morning, and it wasn't available. Question though, are my grandkids age 8 and 11 too old for this? I know I'm not!

No i don't think there to old.

I know my Grand kids ages 6 & 8 are REAL Excited for this Breakfast. I know i am also excited to go and so glad i was finally able to make this booking. It's a sea day so the Brunch will still be going if anyone wants a second meal or they don't enjoy it. I want MY PICTURE taken with Cat in the Hat.
