Walked off royal at 7:15. Thru customs in about 5 mins, into cab and to Airport quickly. Had plenty of time to catch the 10:37 flight.

Tracys has 2 locations. One right next to cruise docks and a second location a little further away.

On royal now. Great trip. Have noticed slow service in dining but minimal disruptions. Friendly staff. Quickly proceeding to Ketchikan to cut day short tomorrow to be able to leave earlier to make it under the bridge in Vancouver by 4:30 am. So shore excursions in disarray at the moment with cancels and revised times. In Ketchikan from 9-3 tomorrow.

Thank you. Going next week. Hope we can walk off with our luggage a little earlier than 8:10! We will make it work.

Here is the disembarkation paperwork from a May cruise. Not sure if it has changed since. The last page has the times. When are you sailing? I'll be back on in a couple weeks and will get new Patters scanned.

Has any recently gotten off the royal and could tell me what time it began? And how long it took to get thru customs? We have an early flight and will probably walk off with our bags. Thanks

We are going on her in August. just wonder if they have the ships temp back to normal? I remember posts about it being so warm, people were sweating and didn’t go to dining room etc? Hope a/c back to working. Thanks

We were on the golden last summer. No craps table. Guys were disappointed. Some game Asian clientele like more. We are on her again in August so we will see!

We need to switch cabins on an upcoming medallion cruise? How do they change IT?

We were on the golden to Alaska. Loved it. Didn’t see any water leaking anywhere and no smells people complain of. Had the best cabin steward we ever had. We are going cak on gold in October Melbourne to Fiji!

Confused as to what princess is telling me. We have a suite on the golden. They asked me if I wanted early or late seating. Isn’t club level dining you can go whenever you like? Thanks.

We just got back from the same trip! Simply amazing. The weather was so nice for the entire time. For us this was a sleeper cruise. Knew it would be nice but didn’t anticipate how awesome the scenic cruising was and how much we enjoyed it. Loved the golden and would have no qualms about going on her again!
We are back from an amazing Alaskan adventure and I’ve finally finished my notes. This will be a pretty lengthy review. Please chime in with any questions. In March 2016 I was at a fundraiser with two of my friends when the idea of taking an Alaskan cruise with our husbands and friends was floated around. I remember saying, “well if you two want to go, then I want to go too” - even though I hate the cold! And that’s where it started. After doing some extensive research and reading over that summer to ensure we knew what we wanted, my friend and I met with a travel agent in the Fall of 2016; we let her know we have a group of approximately 20 people and we would like to take a cruise to Alaska. We knew we wanted to cruise out of Vancouver, because we didn’t want to waste an Alaskan port on Victoria (we are taking the cruise to go to Alaska) and we knew we wanted Glacier Bay. We also knew it had to be after the 4th of July, but, before mid August when all our kids head back to college as this was an adults only trip.
Our travel agent came back with a few options and we selected the Golden Princess Northbound out of Vancouver, due to its itinerary and week of travel. In January 2017 we all started booking, and in the end we had 26 people traveling as a group. My parents joined the group, my friend’s sister and best friend, and a whole bunch of friends and their families. Our only stipulation was that none of our kids would be cruising with us.
So this trip has been talked about and has been in the planning phase for quite a while. We’ve had two cruise parties so everyone could meet. We are a core group of friends, but, from there other family and friends tacked on who did not know each other. We had a cruise party in March, with cruise games and icebreakers, and had another one in June - 4 weeks out. It was great to get to know each other and discuss what everyone was doing in ports and travel arrangements.
We set up the group so that everyone would cruise together, and we would all have dinner at 6pm, but, other than that everyone could do there own thing to get there and do their own excursions, etc....
