TLDR: iHealth proctored test worked fine and was accepted by Verifly
I just had my daughter (11-years old) do the proctored iHealth rapid antigen self-test, the orange box ones we got from the government. Since I already had the unopened test, I only had to buy the testing service. It is $24.99. I selected an online appointment time. They send you a link to click on to start the meeting. They verified my daughter's photo ID with her passport. They tell you exactly what to do. Then the camera has to stay aimed at the test for 15 minutes. When the timer is up, they instruct you to hold the test up to the camera. They confirm the results (negative) and immediately send an email. They confirm that you got the email before they disconnect. I uploaded the results to Verifly, they were accepted! My daughter is "ready to sail" according to Verifly.
Here's the link to the service: https://ihealthlabs.com/products/ihealth-verified-covid-test-service

The proctored service is $20 and can be used in conjunction with the free iHealth COVID tests that I received recently from the government: https://ihealthlabs.com/products/ihealth-verified-covid-test-service. I've searched the forums and found only one person saying just today they were successful with it, but it was for a Norwegian cruise. Thanks in advance.
This is what I plan to do on Wednesday, I am hoping it works and is accepted! I'll report back.

Ours came back approved in just a few days. 🙂

We're on the Panorama and I was able to register on the Verifly app.

Hi, we are a family of 4 sailing out on the Panorama on April 2nd. I want to book some specialty dining, but I would like to know which nights are elegant nights before I do so. Does anyone have any info on that? I noticed that the best dinner times at Bonsai Teppanyaki are selling out already and we don't want to miss that. 🙂

Hi, I am looking at shore excursions on the Panorama. What does "Bubble Tour" mean? Is there something different or special about these excursions? TIA
-
My husband and I are both Red, but he has 3 more nights than me and it is about $80 cheaper when I book under his VIFP number instead of mine.

I was on the Valor last week, they had grapefruit and lime Bubly available. 🙂

For out first Carnival cruise we had Jase as CD and he was fun and energetic. The while family was quoting him and talking about him for weeks after. Then he left Carnival. The next three CDs we had were duds, especially Ben Lambert. But, it didn't effect our cruise, we still had a great time!

Thank you for the info! I agree, I'll get it done before we leave. Also, we will be spending a couple of days in New Orleans prior, so a good idea to be ready for that as well. 🙂

You can try again and match to this instead which mentions transportation. It's a $10 difference vs Carnival

Denied again! But it was worth a try! 🙂
Message HistoryResponse By Email (01/19/2020 06:06 PM)Hello Jennifer,Thank you for submitting a Shore Excursions Best Price Guarantee claim.
We regret to inform you that your claim was not accepted because the tour submitted was not similar to the tour on our program.
Specifically, the provided tour departs from mainland locations like Playa del Carmen and Cancun, not the island of Cozumel.
Thank you for choosing Carnival Cruise Line. We are confident our Shore Excursions offer the most inclusions and the best overall value.

Hello,
Can anyone tell me how much a manicure and/or pedicure costs in the spa? We are sailing on the Valor next week and I was wondering if I should get it done before we leave or enjoy some spa services on the cruise? Thank you!

Check the receipt, once you hit 10 drinks it will show how many you've had already. In our experience, start buying at 14 because they will cut you off after 15 no matter what.

edit: sorry...double posted....

I've been on both, 2 times each. I can't really tell a difference. We did the 4 day cruises on the Inspiration and the 3 days cruises on the Imagination. It really came down to what dates we needed to have and nothing more. We went as a family of 4 on the 4-day cruises and as a group of couples with no kids on the 3-day cruises. From experience I can tell you that the "booze cruisers" and the "family cruisers" operate at completely different times and rarely cause problems for one another. Have fun and I recommend Garibaldi's for lunch and Ensenada Vinos for wine tasting while in Ensenada! 🙂

We have purchased the Cheers program for all 4 cruises we have been on. And never regretted it! Have fun!

In our experience, the Penguins didn't mix with the older age groups. My 2.5 year old was nervous to go to the camp. But we came back 30 minutes later to check on her and she waved us off because she was very busy with arts & crafts. My older daughter was in the Stingrays and she says they never mixed with the little Penguins. They loved camp Ocean!

This forum is great! I appreciate all the responses and I did get some really good ideas! Thank you!! 🙂
