Just now, gerif said:
I really hope there are not that many cheap miserly passengers who would be so mean as to deprive the hard working staff of part of their pay. Did you actually walk around asking people if they paid their gratuities or not?
No I did not walk around asking as I said it was brought up in conversation not by myself at our dining table which is large
-
On board at moment and topic of dreaded gratuities was brought up at our dining table - of all the people we have spoken to they don’t pay them? Is this the norm? Now at $43.50 a day x 9 nights are we the only ones lol??
-
Can I ask what this is?

Thanks for all replies fairly straightforward cancelled and rebooked saving £49
-
How do you cancel and rebook? Are you able to do this online via the history section of your booking? It has cancel option even though balance is 0.00 as it has obviously been paid for if I select this does my credit card get automatically refunded? Thanks

Thank you Clarea

Anyone booked transfers from port for Bangkok for 1st July and have spaces I need 3. Any info appreciated.
thanks
-
We dock at 11am and following day ship sails 6pm I think
-
Not worried about missing dinner on ship at all, it's more about getting idea of times if someone has done day trip what time we would get back to ship I'm guessing 10pm ish and likewise nextday if we did stay overnight what time would we get picked up just so we can plan an itinerary.
-
Thanks for this, pretty sure we don't arrive in port til 11am which is annoying so earliest we would be in Bangkok would be 130-200 so even doing the day trip of 6hrs at your leisure we would still miss our dinner on ship. Love the idea of $24 ea as ship is $69 ea I think which makes it expensive if 3 of us plus hotel etc and admissions for attractions.

Looking to possibly to do day trip to Bangkok while aboard voyager of seas in June/July. Anyone done this that can provide approx drop/pick up time from central world? Would it be safe to say we would not be back to ship for even the late dining time in main dining room? If we did overnight what time does rci arrange pick up just so we have an idea when we would be back on ship.
any info appreciated

Thankyou

Does anyone have contact number for RCI that is not 7p per minute to call?

Have to agree with uk posts no Black Friday deals?
-
Cheller1973 how much did you end up getting drinks package for? I've been looking the past week and ours has gone from £39.50 a day to £37.12. Did you have to phone rci up as I can't see any deals on website?
-
I have wondered what people in uk pay. I have been checking and it has gone down from £39.50 to £37.13 obviously have 18% on top of this. There are 3 of us on cruise next June for 9 nights and our daughter is on soda package with internet all in it's not much off a £1000. Seems a lot of money but I am sure it would soon add up doing it as we go? Are there any Black Friday deals I can't see any when I log into rci?

Not sailing til next year but anyone experienced drink package price changing in the uk. It's sitting at £39.50 per day just curious what people have paid in past.

The prices for the drinks packages how do you check daily is it on royal Caribbean website do I log onto my booking? My cruise is not til next June
thanks in advance
-
You use your Cruise Planner on Royal's website to get prices and order drink packages, excursions, internet, etc.
Thanks for your quick reply.

Hi just booked a cruise on voyager of seas with travel agent for next year. I have a couple of questions 1) how do I find out how much drinks packages etc are? 2) how do I track it and buy it when I am happy with price. TIA
-
75% deposit doesn't sound right at all. The deposit for our upcoming cruise was 15%. I've never worked ithe percentage out before but I think that is probably what we always pay. And this is non-refundable.
It was something to do with cost of flights certain ones required full payment? I have since booked and it works out approx 20%. Thanks for your info

Exactly it was a simple question. I’m sorry if I offended anyone or pissed them off just don’t reply to my question if you are.
