Since I procrastinated on my run this morning because of the cold, I decided to take my afternoon zoom on the road. I mall walked like a champion, so I could pay attention, that counts for something, right? Now to make a few calls. City park picture for fun. It’s 65 degrees here, yet snow is 11 hours away. Thanks Oklahoma. Just a little over 39 hours until departure.

I just finished one zoom. I have another in 50 minutes. Soo ready to be at least at the airport.

Earlier this week, south west Oklahoma had a chance of snow tomorrow. Then it got pushed to Monday. Now, it’s back on for Friday and Monday. 🤦🏼‍♀️ we will start getting snow about midnight tonight, but only 1-2 inches expected. Living in a rural area, that means the kids won’t have school tomorrow. I’m really hoping it holds off. The best news is Dallas isn’t expected to get anything… so as long as we can get out of Oklahoma, we will be good to go. Graphic for informational purposes only.

Plugging away at work… BTW for anyone wondering. I stayed up til 11pm central time and checked in for this cruise. We have a 9:30am check in, group A02. Disappointed I didn’t get A01, but we will be ok. As mentioned, we are flying Southwest, nonstop to FLL, because it was cheaper and I used points going. Then flying out of MIA on the 21st, hung over and sad 😆. We will self-debark priority.

I’ll be sure to post lots of pictures of the hotel. The pricing down there is crazy. Gotta know what you are getting into before you fork over $200-$300 a night. thanks for coming along.

Bonvoy just notified me that I can check in. Quick process through the app. I told them I’d be there about 4 and initialized the mobile key. All we gotta do now is get there.

It’s also trash day here, so Mr. Megan is doing God’s work, cleaning out the refrigerator. There’s nothing worse than coming back from a cruise to “dead” food.

And the current airline advisory… how long have they been naming winter storms?

Good morning! I’m up and watching the weather. A few fellow cruisers are coming from the north west, and they are struggling with the winter storm timing and snow/ice. Yesterday, there was definitely a scramble to reschedule flights. I’m hoping it all goes smoothly, and we are all drinking Miami Vices in no time. I know it’s nerve wracking, but it is the nature of the beast. Today, I have two zooms and car pool on the schedule. High of 62 before the cold front starts to move in. I’ll attempt my run in the afternoon… without 2 pairs of pants seems ideal.

That’s hilarious. I’ll hear Mr. Megan talking about cruises to people. No matter what ship, cruise line, destination… yup he’s been on it or there. I’ll ask him “hey you remember what we did (insert place)?” “Yeah wasn’t that (XYZ)?” NOPE! 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

Brinkley’s cheer practice was canceled so we decided to have the Texas Roadhouse for dinner. We got gift cards for Christmas, so this is basically a free meal. I think we only eat here when we have gift cards honestly. I’m starting off with a Legend margarita.
