  1. Thanks JELAYNE and davekathy for your prompt responses. I logged into my account (NOT via the app) and it seems that the Anytime option for each of the 4 MDRs is showing SOLD OUT on our cruise. So for now, no chance to make any advance reservations at any of these venues. We will however take Jelayne's advise and try and do walk-ins and hopefully be accommodated.
  2. Can anyone please let us know where the Captains Club Coffee Lounge is located on the Celebrity Apex. On the S class vessels the Coffee Lounge is typically located within the Tuscan Grill during morning hours. However, given the absence of the TG on the Edge class vessels, we'd like to know where the coffee lounge for morning coffee & continental breakfast is located on the Apex.. Thanks in advance.
  3. Hello and thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge on this subject. We are booked on the Apex from Rotterdam next month (June). We have completed our check-in and have the Celebrity App downloaded on our phones. I am seeking to make reservations in one of the 4 main dining rooms for our cruise. Unfortunately, I am unable to see a link on the app that would allow me to do so. We are planning on using different restaurants each day and thought it would be best if we made the restaurant reservations before we got on the ship. Any guidance as to how to go about making these dinner reservations using the Celebrity app, would be very helpful. I did a search on this board re "Apex DInner Reservations" but was unable to find the info I am seeking. Hence this request.
  4. A BIG thanks to all for the very helpful advise and guidance. Much appreciate it

  6. Many thanks to everyone for their very prompt responses. Much appreciate it.
  7. Thanks Cruiser Bruce. Yes, I did. I did a search on Iceland Private Tours and did not see anything relevant. Did I miss something?
  8. A quick check to see if X provides you the ability to order from the MDR menu when dining in the Blu (primarily during dinner hours). Thanks in advance.
  9. We (2 couples) will be on an Icelandic cruise in June this year, visiting Akureyri, Isafjordur and Reykjavik. We are looking for suggestions for well reviewed private tour operators in each of the above 3 ports. Thanks in advance for your guidance.
  10. Sorry to piggy back on your thread Lucas34. However, the info we are seeking is pretty much similar to what you are looking for. We (2 couples, 4 in total) are going on an Icelandic cruise in June this year for the first time. Our ports of call are Akureyri, Isafjordur and Reykjavik. We are docked overnight in Reykjavik, but the other 2 ports we dock at 8AM in the morning and leave around 6PM. We too are looking at guidance on car rentals in each of the 3 ports. There is great and helpful info on this thread, however there are two additional questions that we have: 1. Many of the car rental sites have several pick-up locations in each of the 3 ports. Could someone please guide us as to the best pick-up location in each of the 3 ports. It'd be best if there was a location fairly close to (walking distance) from each of the 3 ports that we will be visiting. 2. Suggestions as to where we should try and head to in our hired car in each of the 3 ports that we will be visiting. Any guidance provided is much appreciated.
  11. Sorry, I don't have a beverage package. Also Gold 1953, you make reference to the Elite Coffee House. Where is this, or are you referring to the Elite & above Breakfast in the Tuscan Dining Room?
  12. Good point Terrydtx. I wasn't aware that Aqua came with the AI built in. So, thanks for that info. That said, as someone has already guessed (correctly), our booking is with BCC, so no perks are included. The info on this board has (as always) been very helpful. So thanks everyone who commented.
  13. I am aware that the Blu serves freshly squeezed OJ & grapefruit juices. I would be interested in knowing if the Blu also serves lattes and/or cappuccinos during breakfast. Thanks in advance for your responses.
  14. Many thanks to everyone who provided information, guidance and advice. It is very helpful.
  15. Although we have sailed with Celebrity many times, our upcoming cruise will be the first in Aqua class. We do not have any drinks package, but will be needing bottled drinking water. I am aware that X previously included FREE drinking water for Aqua passengers. Can someone please confirm that is still the case and that this has not been eliminated with the recent cost cutting that one reads so much about. Also if bottled water is still included in Aqua class, is there a daily limit, such that we may still need to bring some bottled water ourselves? Thanks in advance for your responses.
  16. Thanks to everyone responding to my question. Wow, what a wealth of knowledge on this board. Appreciate the willingness to share all this info. A BIG thanks once again.
  17. Good evening: A quick check to see if there is any difference in the cabins and/or benefits between Prime AquaClass (A1) versus AquaClass (A2) on the Solstice class vessels. I understand that AquaClass passengers enjoy free access to the thermal suites/Persian Garden. Is that correct, and if so is this benefit for passengers in both A1 and A2 cabin categories. Thanks in advance for your responses.
  18. Good evening all: Does Avalon have self-serve laundry (washers/dryers for passenger use) on their ships. Thanks in advance for your help. BD
  19. Many thanks Arizona Wildcat for your speedy response. Much appreciated.
  20. Good afternoon: I would like to access details of my FCC - when they were created, what was used and what is the balance left. I tried to search the X website but was unable to locate how I could access this info. Thanks in advance for your responses. Your assistance is much appreciated.
  21. Many thanks to everyone that provided such useful input (including topic specific links). I very much appreciate it. Stay blessed.
  22. Many thanks Laminator. Your responses are very helpful. Have a wonderful day.
  23. We are considering an Alaskan cruise on the Koningsdam this season and would appreciate information from recent HAL cruisers on the following: 1. Does HAL have a policy of announcing/disclosing Covid numbers on board, and if so any information on numbers on recent Alaskan cruises is much appreciated. 2. Certain cruiselines (e.g. Celebrity and Princess) have rows of cabins allocated in advance for quarantine for those testing positive after boarding. Does HAL have cabins similarly allocated for those testing positive during the cruise? If not, are passengers allowed to stay in their own cabins following a positive test? 3. Also, re 2 above, if there are cabins specifically set aside in advance for passengers testing positive, any info on the class of cabins (Inside, OceanView or Balcony) is also appreciated. Furthermore, any information on the location (which deck) where such cabins may be located. Thanks in advance for your guidance/assistance.
