You were right Port Royal!  The manufacturer was amazing to deal with and provided a replacement handle to us without charge!  All great!

We just disembarked a few days ago from Regal Princess in Barcelona and when we arrived at the port terminal, my husband discovered the handle was broken off his bag.  It was left outside cabin door previous night in perfect condition.  The handle was set atop the bag disguising anything broken but once he tried to pick up the handle it wasn't attached. We couldn't find a Princess representative - only bus transfer and port terminal staff so we took a picture at the terminal.  Based on the comments on this thread, I'm not sure if we can expect any remedy to this. We may choose self-service walk off in the future to avoid a repeat of this.  Any suggestions or recent experience would be appreciated.

We are also watching - our final payment date is rapidly approaching and have similar thoughts.  Having said that, cruise lines would not be cavalier and enter waters where ship crew and passengers would be endangered.  Turkey was one of the reasons for selecting this itinerary. 

We just returned from our cruise aboard NCL Spirit. We chose this cruise for port destinations such as Crostia, Slovenia, Greece  and Malta. We stayed in Balcony Cabin 11662 and we were very happy with this location. We enjoyed the close proximity and easy access to the rear decks and often had breakfast there. We were apprehensive after reading reviews but didn't have any troubles with noise or fumes. The cabins are compact but fine for two. It's an older ship but public areas have been updated.We appreciated the in room coffee maker, the large number of clothes hangers and found our bed was very comfortable with no concerns at all.  Bathrooms are small and dated but we liked the separated toilet and shower areas. We weren't looking for problems so didn't seem to encounter them. Overall the food was good with enough variety to suit most. We would not hesitate to suggest this trip.

Can you provide an update? Did you stay in this cabin? Did you enjoy your cruise/was it noisy?
