I got my scam by email. While in London after getting off Anthem I got an email from Royal saying they were looking forward to welcoming me on my May 30 Jewel sailing and that I had $100 OBC to use. It even listed a reservation number.  I was flying home May 29 after a B2B and had no other bookings.

Cruised on Anthem May 12 to May 26, 2024. Took our WOW bands that we got for free on Quantum's inaugural. Guest Services reprogrammed them. I got my original back but when DH went to get his reprogrammed the guy swapped it out for a new one as our Quantum bands had the muster station printed on them. In Schooner Bar you had to take it off and hand it to the bar server to scan. Used it in one of the shops and wore it to the pool once but never ordered a drink pool side with it. Only used it to open stateroom door when our hands were full. Can't get off the ship with it, still have to use Seapass card.

Crowded. And it wasn't due to the 1,000 kids on board the May 19 sailing. Only had one run in with some hooligans doing their shenanigans in an elevator. All venues were crowded, music loud, nothing to write home about in the dining room or Windjammer. Oh! Did I forget to mention that our Head Waiter told us that when Anthem is in Southampton they take lobster off the menu (I imagine you can still pay for it), we had no lobster on the second formal night. They replace it with extra large garlicky shrimp (prawns). Hot tubs on pool deck, in the Solarium, and the indoor hot tubs were always full. Saw We Will Rock You and wasn't impressed. Didn't like the sexual inuendo, didn't like the lead female singers nasally voice, didn't like they tried to put a lame plot line to it. Just do it like a concert please. Crown and Anchor benefits were inconsistently applied.

Don't be concerned about doing this. It's usually easy for my DH to hook up our Firestick but on a couple of RCI ships we've had to ask for help and were told that they do this all the time. We of course gave a thank you ($) to the crew member that came to help.

I will think hard about if I really need to, we're B2B on Anthem and both cruises are port intensive, Norway then France/Spain. By the time I get back into the cabin I may either pass out on the bed or be coming back from a bar after using all 6 of my vouchers, and passing out on the bed.

This is my last post for about a month. I leave Friday for Anthem and won't be home until the end of May. I know Anthem is due for a rotation, don't know when Capt Ban is going to leave after taking Anthem across the Atlantic.

I do this but I worry about fake charges after I get home. I've been hit with a few and I didn't call to contest, wasn't worth my time. If I simply pay off my balance at the end of the cruise, they have my CC number to erroneously charge for pool towels etc.

I was going to get one of those collapsible washing tubs (as seen on FB or Temu) but I thought someone recently complained they were called to the naughty room for the washing tub they had in their suitcase. Not quite clear on if it was confiscated or not.
