  1. I saw a posting that Peru was preventing cruise ships from docking if there is any Covid cases on board. We are on a Lima to B.A. cruise  starting Nov.19 with one other stop in Peru. Anyone have any further info on this? Has anyone needed a covid test lately before boarding in Lima? I realize this is the beginning of cruising season in south america so this may be changing.

    Thanks,

    Karen

  2. We are on an Alaska cruise out of Vancouver. Anyone have a suggestion to spend the day after we get off the ship in Vancouver?  Our return flight is at 11pm. We had planned to do princess 's hop on bus but recent reviews are really bad. Anyone use it recently?

We found a tour to whistler  but that' the only all day tour we found. We are spending a few days precruise in Victoria and Vancouver so we hopefully will have done most touring in vancouver

    Thanks

  3. I started a Rollcall for this cruise hoping we might find a few more! Right now there are 6 of us. I just started trying to decide what we should do. I will post under the roll call if I find small group tours,if you are interested in joining. Please let me know if you find anything besides what the boat offers.

    Thanks,

    Karen & Andrew

  4. I do believe that cigars are only allowed above the Compas Rose. I could be wrong but I have been on WS cruises where if cigars are being smoked on the main decks people complain for good reason. “Cigar smoke vs sea air “ I do not complain but I would. It is very intrusive. I do believe there are sugar free jellies, not sure about desserts but think there are and there is always fruit. Don’t know about Marimite or Vegemit. Never have seen English bacon or Kippers. There is substitute sugar. Great food, variety, fresh, healthy, presented beautifully, ample and more choices than you can imagine. Great cappuccino in the Yacht Club, terrific sandwiches. Lunches and breakfasts small bufetts and menus, great salads. Very healthy and delicious healthy. Hope this helps. Of course food is subjective but that is my take. Happy Sailing

Just packing for our 2 week trip on Jan.13. Anyone know if they have Truvia (stevia) sweetener on board? We took a 25 day trip on Crystal and brought a box along but were surprised they ended up having it on board!

    Thanks,

    Karen
