Looks as though the glitch has been fixed, as some have stated. I just looked at our docs again and the FTTF logo is gone of of them all. I will keep the ones I already printed, not going to waste time and ink.
-
So I hadn't printed out our boarding pass before, but had looked at all the documents and noticed the Health Questionnaire/Pregnancy Questionnaire. With all of this talk of the new format for the boarding pass, I decided to check ours(thankfully FTTF is still listed on ours!!!) but now I only see the Health Questionnaire and not the Pregnancy Questionnaire.
I noticed the same thing so did an online search to find the ones that include the pregnancy questionnaire and filled those out. They printed pretty small, but so long as they have them, size shouldn't matter, right ;p

No doubt! Let me know what they say.
We booked through Costco, so when I called Carnival, the lady didn't see it but advised I call Costco. I called Costco and she contacted Carnival who confirmed we don't have it, but sometimes they print stuff as advertising? Really think that was there response because they truly have no idea why it printed on there. Terrible to mess with a customer like that!

Then it appears you don’t have it. But why would it show on your documents? I would call Carnival. I saw on the other page where people were having the opposite issue. They bought FTTF but it wasn’t showing. They were told there’s a glitch in the system with the new boarding pass layout or something. Wish I had a better answer for you but I’m just as confused as you are.
I think I will, just took me by surprise. I mean, I'm all for having it for free...but don't want any issues at check in time. Thanks for the help!

It would look like this:
I looked in the area you are referring to and it is blank under "orders".
-
Yes that’s the way it is if you have FTTF. When you log into your Cruise Manager does it have it listed as an excursion towards the bottom of the page where it shows your fare and payment amount?
I have looked everywhere and it doesn't show  I also meant top left of boarding passes, not right, oops!
-
Does it show as an excursion under your booking?
Not that I can see, and we haven't purchased any excursions. Is it normal for all of them to print with th logo on them? It's at the bottom of the luggage tags and at the top left of the boarding passes.
-
Is it possible that someone you are travelling with, or a friend purchased it for you? If so how awesome. I love having FTTF!
Nope! It's just hubby, I and our kids. We purchased it all.
-
I just printed our boarding passes and luggage tags and they all have Faster to the Fun logo on them, but we didn't purchase it? I should state this is our first Carnival Cruise, and we have a regular balcony room. I'm very confused.

We are sailing the week before Christmas, and due to our large group require two rooms. After reading all the advice and weighing options as well as doing a lot of research, we went with the Maya. It is $179/night for park and cruise, even though we don't have a vehicle. It provides a shuttle to the cruise port(which saves us taxi or Uber cost) and is in a safe area. You can search forever and try to find a better deal, but in the end, it's probably not worth it. I decided we are on vacation and it will cost a little more, but it makes our lives easier and is worth a few extra $$ for peace of mind.

we always stay at maya
call to get best rate
we have stayed at other places around long beach and most are hit and miss
the maya is a hilton brand hotel so you always know what you get
jump a uber downtown for last minute stuff before cruise and then easy quick shuttle ride to ship
also great calamari at fuegos restaurant

I just responded to another poster in regards to food access around the Maya, I really had hoped for something within walking distance that would appeal to my very picky family. I like how close it is to our cruise port, so it's a toss up.

p41 does not always work on the web site which is why I also added Jesssica's e mail.
I have been in contact with Jessica, and they gave me a rate of $179, we have to have two rooms, so it's hard to pay so much when it's just a place to sleep. We are cruising the week before Christmas, so everything costs more and I may just have to accept that. My other issue with the Maya is access to restaurants for my picky family, it doesn't look like there is really anything within walking distance.

I am still trying to decide on a hotel for the night before our cruise since we need two rooms and the prices a week before Christmas are crazy high. One of the things that would sway me is any that offer a shuttle to the Carnival Cruise terminal. Hoping someone can help!

There are charges for texts, around $.50 sent/$.05 received. You can pay $10/day for an international plan through Verizon(You must sign up for it before your trip, then you can choose which days to use it), but we found it best to purchase the ships call/text plan and then only use the Verizon plan if needed while at a port. If you have Verizon's unlimited plan, it includes Mexico and Canada for no extra charge. HTH!

Best Western Golden Sails has a park n cruise package with a shuttle.
You might also try the Pacific Inn @ Seal Beach. Both of those are farther out, but are decent hotels.
We are flying in, so no parking needed. I tried contacting them(Golden Sails) about a pre-cruise price without parking and they never responded.

have you tried VRBO or AirBNB for a 2 or 3 bedroom place? I don't know if they do one night only but you may find renting 2 nights cheaper than 2 hotel room nights.
I have, and it's not any better than hotel pricing, and we only need one nights stay.

We just stayed at Hotel Maya a few weeks back using the code on here and had zero problems. My opinion other than the view this hotel is overrated but it sure was nice being so close in the morning when we went to get on the ship. We've also previously stayed at the BW and felt totally safe there but we don't venture too far out in unfamiliar neighborhoods on foot anywhere.
What code did you use? I've seen a couple, but have been so nervous about trying it. I would love to be close, but it's hard to justify the cost.
-
I should also clarify there are six of us, so we have to get two rooms, which is why it will cost us so much more.
-
Try asking for the Carnival code at the Maya Doubletree.
Thank you! I did read your list and checked all of them, but really hoped for a lower cost option. I asked the Maya hotel directly if they had any special rates for Carnival cruisers, and was told no. I did see some post a corporate and another type of code on here, which do work, but I was concerned they would question me upon arrival and end up charging us full rate. What do you know about this?
-
We are 213 days out, and I was able to choose check in time right after I booked a few days ago.
-
Just to clarify, this is the one located at 1725 Long Beach Blvd. Can anyone tell me if this hotel and location is decent? I don't want to spend $300+ just for a place to rest our heads the night before our cruise. Also, does it provide a shuttle to the Carnival port?
-
I found out it is not an option based on it being "early saver", which was not openly disclosed, and it would also cost us another $500 to add another room. We will be keeping things how they are and it will be fine. We don't spend a ton of time in the room anyway. Thanks!

I wasn't thinking when I booked our Carnival cruise yesterday with six of us in two staterooms. I booked through Costco, and paid a "nonrefundable" deposit. When I called to ask about reserving an extra room and moving one person from each of the current rooms, they told me I couldn't, that I would lose my deposit. I am not looking to cancel, only get an extra room and move a couple people. Has anyone ever done this without penalty? Our cruise isn't until December, so we are doing this well in advance.

Those were the answers I needed, thank you all for your responses!!!

I know it is an option to purchase the excursion with Carnival, but am curious what other options there are in PV, if any are within walking distance and if they have to be purchased in advance or if you can just show up the day of? I have looked into Crown Paradise and Marriott, but can't find any specific details about pricing or purchasing. I have emailed one resort but have not heard back. We are traveling with a 12 y/o, so want something she can also enjoy.
