6 days until we are on the Allure!

I might have missed this but does the Deluxe package cover wine up to $13 on Allure?
-
We've never had a drink denied on any of the RCI cruises we've taken and we've definitely hit the 15 drink mark on the at sea days. 15 sounds like a large number but a mimosa or bloody mary with breakfast, a few drinks during the day/by the pool, pre-dinner, dinner and drinks at the dance club adds up. I've also never had a waiter tell me to wait between drinks. Honestly, if that happened I'd probably just put down the remainder of my current drink, walk 30 feet to the next bar and order something there. In the past we've also been able to order a shot and a beer at the same time since they consider a beer a chaser but I am not sure if that still applies with the new package.

11 Days until Allure

I know, I found it last October when we were on and I couldn't wait to start the trip with one! A few bartenders that had been on our previous cruise remembered me and would make it for me randomly if they had the coconut water available. Newer bartenders didn't know how to make it and wouldn't.
There was a teqmo( spelling ?) basically a tequila mojito I really liked and another tequila drink I'm trying to remember the name of but it was like a tequila spritzer. And drank several blue Hawaiians lol

I'll keep my fingers crossed for a bartender that knows how to make it!
Love blue Hawaiians! I've heard a lot about the caribbean coolers, although I've never had one, so I'll try that too. I don't think anything will replace the mojito though!

DH are planning to try this on our sailing next week. We will not be doing it all in one day, just planning to try to get at least one drink at every bar throughout the week with a rule of trying something new as often as possible. We put this list as a note on our iphones and will mark them off as we go. I did not include anything requiring special access (ie Diamond or Suite Lounges) as we will not have access. I also included places like the aquatheatre that does not have a bar but you can still order a drink if you are there for a show. If I missed any, please let me know!

I spent 5 months looking forward to a triple coconut Mojito and a labadoozie only to get told we couldn't get the labadoozie on board anymore and then ordered the coconut mojito without looking at the new menu, tasted it and had to go back and look at the menu- followed by ordering a different drink [emoji24][emoji24][emoji24][emoji24]

I only just discovered the drink last August and have been looking forward to it ever since then. Any recommendations for other drinks to try? I'm curious about the Passionfruit Caipirinha!

The triple coconut mojito is no more [emoji24][emoji24][emoji24][emoji24] it was my favorite drink, Malibu, coconut milk, the coconut on the glass, lime, mint and club soda was so good!
March we were on Oasis and I headed straight to Boleros for my Triple coconut mojito which is now a coconut mojito made with Bacardi, coconut syrup (the stuff used at coffee shops), lime, mint and soda water. Now it's overly sweet and tastes like tanning oil

Oh no!!!!!! :loudcry::loudcry::loudcry::loudcry: this is tragic news!

I am curious about this too! Does RCI schedule bar crawls? We've done our own informal crawls in the past but I've always wondered about company organized ones. We leave in 12 days!
-
I'll be on the Allure in less than two weeks. Does the rule still stand that you can order a shot and a beer at the same time? They've allowed this on previous cruises (including last August on FOTS) but I'm not sure if it has changed with the new drink package.
-
My go to used to be the lavender lemondrop martini from the champagne bar. On our last cruise we officially became acquainted with Boleros (only took 5 cruises) and I discovered the triple coconut mojito. Hands down my favorite drink. I am also a fan of the bloody mary the make on board.
Question, in the past with the Premium drink package, we've been able to order a shot with a beer (the consider the beer the chaser and don't charge for two drink at once). Does this rule still apply for the Deluxe drink package?
Walking around the ships with plates of food

I do this every morning and afternoon. We usually stay one or two decks below the WJ, so I grab food for my boyfriend and I, cover it with a napkin and walk it down to the room to eat breakfast on the balcony. In the afternoon, we go up to the WJ to make our own cheese plate, grab some wine on the way out and have an afternoon snack on the balcony. I will say I am not a food/pool kind of person. It always ends in a mess for me due to wind/balancing issues/etc.
