Simple fix - don't cruise Princess
-
From what I have seen and told by the waitstaff the only club class perks are different color napkins
-
No cigars under the stars but there is cigars under water which can be done on either side of the ship below the waterline. LOL

Great that you are cleaning your cabin, but it won't make any difference to your getting noro. If the previous inhabitants had noro, it would have been cleaned before you board.
Noro can only enter your body through your mouth or nose - not through your skin. If there is an alert for noro, don't handle your food. Sorry, to say that it means you should not pick up a bread roll with your hands unless you can be 100% sure your hands are totally sanitized.
OK but you do not know If someone else has picked up the same roll and put it back - people will do this
-
These are subliminal messages to make you buy more stuff
-
It used to be $1.50 for three scoops - if that is still the case it is cheaper to buy than use the coffee card

You don't specifically designate how you spend OBC. OBC is just a credit in a simple credit & debit system.
Your OBC's will be shown as a credits in your on board account. Each day your hotel gratuities and any other on board expenses will be added to your account. Your account will have a running net balance.
There are non refundable and refundable OBC - they will use the non first for any and all expenditures
-
they usually art out using the non refudable

There is a meeting room deck 6 heading into the Princess theatre - might be for staff only - but you might inquire onboard
-
I have to disagree with what you wrote. The 29. Is not the cost of dinner. It is a cover charge for just eating at a specialty restaurant. Th ere are people. With all kinds of appetites and tastes. He is correct that princess has found a new way to nickel and ten dollar us.:):)
And you now this for a fact - how?
-
well, how can you say it's not true, when you were NOT on the same ship and the same cruise as OP?
Some of our posters have the ability to be on all 17 ships, in all dining rooms, both servings, every cruise - don't know how they do it, but they seem to know what is happening on all ships at aall times???
-
If in USA - you get off the ship for customs and go right back on - if there are a lot of b2b they may bring the customs agents onboard to speed up the process
-
We usually put out one bag every two or three days - we put them out before leaving for breakfast nd will get them back by about 5 the next day - except on the last days of a b2b it may take an extra day
-
If you read it on Cruisecritic it is probably just a rumor or definitely not true, posted by one of the many agitators
-
I have floridalover on ignore and I still see his nonsensical posts on other posters quotes - how do I stop that?

I have never seen an ice machine on each deck or by the laundry room. Just ask your cabin steward and he will give you all you want.
Tony
Some ships have an ice machine on each floor - I found one on the Regal or Royal stashed away in one of their staff only rooms - not to be used by guests
-
Thanks to all,
Just thinking about shops and such around the port or tender areas for souvenirs and things.
Do you really think a local vendor will not accept your US dollars?
-
We did the opposite cruise and had no problem with acceptance of US dollars - we booked all of our tours independantley
-
Anyone with AML leukemia or traveling with someone with it - do you still cruise and how do you handle blood tests, getting info back to your doctor and what if you need a blood transfusion?? This is not a joke post!
-
Yes, this is true... Your steward should be very good about your ice bucket... But, they are very busy, and for anything else, at all, you should call the room-service number. One time we wanted wine-glasses for our room, and mentioned this to our steward when they stopped by upon embarkation. Even for that... yep, call room delivery.
Room service will usually bring water glasses - wine glasses are hard to get - I usually grab two from vines when I get our morning coffee in the IC - or - if I take a glass to dinner I ask the server to bring us fresh glasses before we leave
-
You can get extra ice from room service any time of day - leave a tip!

This is what I have and what works best. Won't work on land in the UK, but sure works great on the ship. 8 of these for $6.39 is a pretty darn good deal. It's all you need. No converter needed at all. Edited to add: from what I've learned (the hard way) the plugs on Princess ships are for US and European outlets only, not UK adapters. You'd think you'd need UK adapters onboard, but they won't work IME.
Works OK until you plug a 110 volt only in it
