I am on this cruise getting ready to check out of my hotel to head to the port just a block away.

I have clients booked on the Radiance and they have their new cabin number for their June 14 cruise. The dates changed from 13-17th to the 14-18 so you may have a departure change too.

I’m on this cruise as well and also have faster to the fun. I am normally at port by 10:30 am.

Why leave the country without a passport makes no sense at all. Some people who use travel agents are lazy and the agents make them that way. Book your own travel do your own research and become an informed traveler. Alot of these so called agents are nothing more than MLM scams anyway. I know a "travel agent" without a passport and trust and believe there is nothing she could tell me I would not triple check. smh

I had FTTF while cruising carnival. You can come to the port around 10 am. they have a room they have all priority wait in and then they call the priority first and then FTTF. I was on ship by 11:30 am. This was in 2017 thoughit may have changed some.

If you are cruising from New Orleans this upcoming Monday there is a traffic advisory due to Trump speaking at some event.
TRAFFIC ALERT
CARNIVAL TRIUMPH
JANUARY 14, 2019
January 10, 2019
Dear Carnival Triumph Guest,
We have just been informed that President Trump will be visiting New Orleans on Monday, January 14, 2019. As a result, there will be numerous street closures and heavier than normal traffic in and around the city.
Please allow ample time to commute to the cruise terminal and arrive within your pre-selected Arrival Appointment. In preparation for final boarding and departure, all guests must be on board the ship no later than 60 minutes prior to the published sailing time.
We are looking forward to welcoming you aboard for a FUN and memorable cruise vacation.
Sincerely,
Denese Waiters

Wow. I think you have a misconception that anyone who has a credit card is in debt. I too have several credit cards with high credit limits but not high balances. And I am not in debt, also not even a mortgage. We pay off the cards every month never paying interest. And we get rewards on every purchase. So not only are we not in debt, don't pay interest or fees, but the credit card company is in a sense paying us to use their card.
I have credit cards myself so no. My response was to the rude one suggesting that only those who have a lot of funds on a credit card should travel. That poster suggested if you don't have $2000 on a credit card not to travel because you basically can't afford it. Way to make a person feel not worthy.

Never buy gift cards from anyone but AARP. you cant trust those resellers.
Wow to the person who questioned a person not cruising with Credit Cards. So apparently only people in debt with extremely high credit limits can travel? smh

Well my room steward said they go outside the door and that's where they will continue to go period!

carnival is not responsible for people not reading and understanding their travel documents. Accountability needs to start with the purchaser being aware of what they are purchasing.

Mine was 12:30 but I had FTTF by that time we had already started boarding

My July cruise I flew in from California on a Friday to BWI. I never chance my vacation with flights from cross country. If you fly out of San Francisco at night you are almost guaranteed a canceled flight from fog or delays elsewhere.
I never want to start my vacation out frustrated so I flew in and spent time with family in pikesville MD. Morning of the cruise we had breakfast at IHOP and a nice relaxing drive to the terminal.

Use Uber next time. I personally think the Carnival transfers are too much hassle myself and don't deal with them.
When I went on my cruise last month it was going to be $25 per person to BWI. Right outside the cruise terminal we caught a cab for 3 people for $30 flat rate. No waiting walked off the ship and into a cab

If the OP had proof her travel docs once Transfer was purchased should have had the info listed. The OP should have had this with her and if entitled she would have had no issues with proof in hand.
