No, it's not their responsibility to call and get it resolved--that's your responsibility. The employee was not wrong. I wouldn't take a photo of a cc either.

I was on a cruise and this happened. I went to guest services and they let me use the phone to call my bank. It was activated in 5 mins. Some employees just aren't creative thinkers. I was also polite and apologized for the inconvenience.

I almost did but I need to have a window or a balcony otherwise I feel claustrophobic and interior is way too dark for me. My pride in July is a ocean view for the amount of time I stay in the room it will work.

Hal America sails right from where I live and I refuse to sail them because I went on one of the weekend Mexico cruises and talk about boredom. Food was ok and the enthusiasm level was lacking. I am a 54 year old woman and it was as like being in a home for The aged. Did the same cruise on carnival with a cruise a year later and had a blast! I can afford to pay for HAL but I chose to cruise with a lively bunch and HAL is not it for me. Ymmv. I have no problem flying from San Diego to anywhere to cruise with fun people.

Classless people are every where. Those Cruise snobs on HAL and others just are dressed better & like overpaying needlessly for silly stuff. :rolleyes:

the fact that someone who looks down on Carnival so much tells a lot about them when they waste time in putting them down. Apparently so beneath their standards but not enough to not come in a carnival forum to wax poetic on how horrid and uncouth a cruise-line it is. I must surmise not enough going on in those so called better Cruise lines

Maybe people who wear sun tan lotion should be proactive and at least put a towel under themselves before ruining someone else's furnishings. I made a friend pay up for doing that to a new lounger of mine which had towels on them for just that purpose and she chose not to use it!

I have purchased other items on Groupon but never a cruise. I saw this 15 day cruise with Hotel in Miami Panama Canal Cruise for $999. I like it because it ends in Long Beach CA which I can rent a car to drive home.

You paid for a cruise that had that stipulation. If you don't like to dress than you may want to look at NCL. They are freestyle.

Since my company uses this type of survey as a major one of the employees Job metrics and less than a 10 as cost people to lose jobs. I refuse to do surveys at all.
