  1. Going on upcoming Anthem 5 night to Bermuda.

    - Watched her dock the other day on portbermudawebcam.com. What is the ferry/boat that is alongside her just after docking? It appears that a group of passengers gets onto that ferry, and then only after that are other passengers allowed to disembark. What excursion is that for / where does it go?

    - Would just like to know beforehand what the procedure for disembarkation after docking in Bermuda is. Timeline, and exactly where in the ship (deck and location) you exit from. We did Celebrity Summit to Bermuda the past few years and we were always ready-and-waiting, and off the ship as soon as the gangway was open. Want to do the same this year to make the most of the limited Bermuda beach time!

    - And finally, when we booked the cruise a month ago, we attempted to make reservations for entertainment and activities. The ONLY thing that we were able to book (something both available to book online, and at a time that we think we'll be available to do it) was Spectra's Cabaret for 9pm on the last night, wednesday June 21. Just got an email this morning from RC saying that our reservation has been cancelled, "due to the length of sailing this show will not be offered this voyage." Huh??? Anybody else have this happen or have any further info? Was looking at the dailies someone posted for this same itinerary from a few weeks ago and the show is listed on that final night.

  3. First time on Anthem; we're doing a 5 night Bermuda this summer. Also first time with Diamond status. A few questions :

    - Based on what I've read from info for last year, Diamond Club offers complimentary drinks (from a limited menu) between 5-8:30. But 3 drink credits (for other bars) are also applied each day to your SeaPass card. Is this still the way it currently works? And are the 3 drinks in addition to any drinks in the Diamond Club? Are the 3 drinks also from a limited menu? (we've been Elite on Celebrity the past few years, so the cocktail hour with limited drink menu is familiar, but Celebrity never did anything like the other 3 drinks, so I'm curious how it all works)

    - For the 5 night Bermuda cruise, what time can you get off the ship the first day? On Celebrity Summit, we were off the ship within 15 minutes of the lines being tied up. Watching the Bermuda cam this week, Anthem was all docked and ready by 8:40, but I didn't see people exiting the ship til roughly quarter after 9:00. (the issue is whether or not it's possible to make the first bus or 2 out of dockyard)

    - Any info from this same itinerary for Northstar? It's the only "activity" I definitely want to do, but it's currently not possible to book online. Would like to do it either day at sea, any time of day. How difficult to book (even possible?) once on ship?

    Thanks for any input.

  4. Going on Anthem to Bermuda next month. It's my first time on an RCL ship. For the past 5 years we've done the Celebrity Summit to Bermuda out of Cape Liberty. Each time on Celebrity, I've had 2 bottles of wine in my checked luggage - in Celebrity's documentation it says you are allowed 2 bottles; it doesn't specify anything about checked vs carry-on. I notice on RCL's documentation it specifies that you are allowed to bring 2 bottles in your carry-on. Is there any reason for this??? Same port, and Celebrity is their "sister company", so why the difference? Just wondering if anyone else has put their wine in their checked bags and had any issues. I'd rather not have to lug them around for a couple hours (and have bottles clanking around) in my carry-on...so much easier to pad them between clothes and let them get delivered to the room in the checked bags.
