Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. I just returned from Disney Cruise Line and we had concierge for the first time and I am now spoiled. We are planning a cruise for March and looking into a suite. What are the benefits to a suite on Symphony. Do they have a seating section in the shows? Do they book your specialty dinners? Is there a lounge that you can get snacks from? Tell me about coastal kitchen. The one thing I don't like it trying to get a seat in the mornings at the buffets for breakfast. On DCL we were able to go to the lounge and order breakfast off of the menu and loved avoiding all the crowds.
  2. I am trying to plan a cruise for March and looking into leaving out of Ft Lauderdale. I have done many cruises but only out of Port Canavaral so this Port is new to me. I need help with where to stay pre-cruise, transportation to and from the port, etc. I am a little nervous bc I am so used to Port Canavral and it is so easy to go out of. Thank you all.
  3. I am planning on booking a cabana for our cruise in may. However, it says minimum age is 4. Does that mean that my 2 year old granddaughter cannot be in the cabana? I don't understand why this would be.
  4. I need to hear from all of you who have been on a cruise out of Cape Liberty. We are scheduled on the Symphony of the Seas next May. My daughter is currently on the Disney Wonder sailing to Bermuda and spent the whole first day at sea sick from the 12 foot swells. We are cruising to Labadee, Coco Cay and Port Canavral. Is this always rough seas going out of this port. We just returned from a cruise out of Port Canavral and did Bahamas and had a very smooth cruise. I know the symphony is a lot bigger than the ship my daughter is on but I am panicking thinking we will all be sea sick. Does time of year make a difference as well. From what they are telling her on the ship it is always rough. Is Bermuda different from Bahamas and Caribbean? Thank you all so much.
