We booked our cruise last minute and 1:00-1:30 was the earliest check in time that was left. What time would you recommend we arrive at the port. Can we check in early? Can we change our check in time? Any thoughts or tips are apprecicated! :):)
Thanks!!!

How do I find out the schedule of the Entertainment available on our cruise?
Thanks!

We just booked a last minute cruise on the Carnival Breeze last night for next month. What nights are designated for Formal Dining? We have only done 2 cruises over 11 years so we are fairly new to the process. This is our first cruise with Carnival. My wife's birthday is on a Wednesday so we were thinking about booking a reservation in the specialty steak house on that night. I haven't found any Specialty Restaurant Dining Packages like we did with RC. I do see where there is a minimal discount for booking in advance though. We are a minor foodies and had rather spend our money on good food rather than expensive excursions. We also booked so late we got the late 8:30 slot for the dining room. I am just trying to schedule a evening dining schedule. I appreciate your thoughts!
Thanks!

As Elvis would say, thank you, thank you very much! :)

My wife wants confirmation that there are going to be close hangers in the rooms?
Thanks!!!

Does Pandora have any RC type of cruise music stations that reflect what you hear on the ships?

Sorry! My bad. Our port is Galveston. Do you guys tip the porter?
Thanks for the replys!

We will be leaving our vehicle with EZ Cruise Parking and they will be shuttling us to what I guess is the RC port site. Once the shuttle drops us off with our luggage is our luggage immediately tagged and left for RC to process or do we have to carry/roll/stay with it for awhile? The reason I ask is it impacts how much luggage my wife wants to bring? lol
Hopefully, I made some sense with my question!
Thanks!!!

Hey Bob, I see you are from Central Illinois. My wife grew up near Champaigne in the Fisher/Gifford area. We just booked a trip up there this Thanksgiving for a big reunion.

Thanks Bob for all of your responses to my various posts! Your are VERY helpful!!!:)

We are in the process of planning our dining and entertainment schedule for our upcoming LOTS cruise on 7-16 through 7-23. Is there any way in advance to get a schedule of the entertainment/shows that will be available on different nights or do we just have to wait and board and get what I believe they call their Daily Compass?
Thanks!!!:)

We are considering the Deluxe Drinking Package for my wife. What is the cash limit per glass of wine with the Deluxe Drinking Package on the Liberty of the Seas? I read that it was $12.
In addition, I plan on bringing the 2 allowed bottles of wine for myself. Am I allowed to transport the wine to the MDR or specialty restaurants for myself? I am not interested in RC opening or storing my wine at their price.

No, it's not. The $44 IS the discounted price. It is often $65 on board. $44 is the best you are ever going to do.
Well considering the price has been $44 for the last month that I have been researching this cruise and today I get this email which seemed to me be a new reduction from the previously posted prices, I still believe it was deceptive. Good thing I rarely take anything at face value, particulary when it comes to adverting!
-
It's 20% off of some number RC pulls out of you know where. Just look in your Cruise Planner to get the price, don't try to figure out percentages.
That's what I thought. Fairly deceptive!!!!
-
When I put the Deluxe drinking package in my shopping cart it doesn't appear to take 20% off the $44 per day rate? If that is the case, I think the email is fairly deceptive.
-
Just received an email from RCI offering 20% off Deluxe Beverage Package. Is that 20% off the $44 per day that is quoted through my cruise planner, making it $35.20 per day or are they just basically saying that the 20% is off typical Non-Deluxe Beverage Package prices if that makes sense?
-
RCI was not sure why they wouldn't print from the web site. They were ready. They emailed them to me in Pdf format.
Thanks for all the responses!!!

We sail this upcoming Sunday, 7-16, and have already checked in online. However when I go to print my "Guest Vacation Documents" this message pops up:
You have selected to receive your documents electronically, but they are not yet available. You will receive an e-mail when your documents are ready to download.
Should they already be available, might there be a problem or is it standard for them to be available just a few days prior to departure?
Thanks!!!:)

Well, just read that the CDC has issued a travel notice to travelers regarding the Zika Virus in Grand Cayman and Jamaica. I guess that's a pretty good reason to bring some!!!

I continue to read recommendations about packing insect repellant. We will be traveling to Cozumel, Grand Cayman and Jamaica but will not be spending any time in any jungles. Just beach time, restaurants, and shopping. Any need for the insect repellant?
Thanks!!!:)

We are traveling to Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Jamaica. For years I have heard to be very careful when traveling to Jamaica because of the crime. Any excursion we take there will be through RC. I have also heard about the dangers of Mexico but haven't really heard about it extending to Cozumel. I have heard nothing regarding safety at Grand Cayman and wanted some opinons from some of you seasoned Cruisers?
Thanks!!!:)

We are always concerned about carrying too much cash on us. Does RC cash Travelers Checks? Is it standard for staterooms to have safes in the rooms?
Carnival Breeze - Can I change our late Dining Time?
in Carnival Cruise Lines

We booked our cruise last minute and were given "Late Dining 8:15 (Waitlisted)". My wife and I typically eat at about 5:30 and had prefer to eat much earlier in the Main Dining Room. A friend told me that I might be able to change the time when we board. We were given a 1:00-1:30 check in time so we will likely be boarding later. I am trying to find out a way to board earlier. We do plan on eating in the specialty restaurants a few nights. Any tips or recommendations are appreciated! :)
Thanks!
