thats what I would say, of the doctors cave (it does not include lunch or beverage) but beatiful and relaxing beach. Easy to get to from both falmouth and montego bay port
-
The montego bay town tour then the doctors cave beach sounds like a good fit for what your looking. I have been to the Doctors cave beautiful beach and nice facilities, you can look into this company https://globetrotteradventuretours.com/, they are who we used.

The blue hole falls or bobsledding on the mystic mountain

yes it is, not sure what the cost is but it was pretty cheap and right on port.

We weren't rushed with the company we used, this being the reason we skipped the cruise excursions to avoid the rush and the crowd. Unless we booked a tour with lunch stop included we didnt endure the unnecessary stops unless ofcourse we wanted to. With taxis most times you have to end up finding your own way back (what I've heard), which put us off because we would have been concerned about getting a cab in time to get back to the ship. This is the company we used https://globetrotteradventuretours.com, maybe they could be of better help. Good Luck

the dunns river falls has a kids park and you can enter the falls from the board walk without the climb, so you can still take a 4 year old. You can also look into the Konoko falls and garden. Hope this helps

Taxi prices may end up being round about the same, most companies offer private transport to the tour and you pay the entry out of pocket. Sorry can't be of much help with this one

a catamaran cruise to the dunns falls, horseback rides or the river tubing with https://globetrotteradventuretours.com/.

We always went to the 7 mile beach, sometimes busier than other times but we still enjoyed it
-
The 7 mile beach, its close to port and very enjoyable

I personally haven't done this tour, so can't say much about it. A company I used was Globe Trotter adventure tours, we had a blast with them.

You can try the Bob marley tour, takes you through the mountain side to his resting place. Not a very active tour but very interesting. The blue hole is very fun its not as commercialized as the dunns falls, you get to climb the falls which isn't very tall, do rope swings and swim. River tubing is also pretty good to relax or the river kayaks. We used a local company Globe trotter adventure tours, great service and we had a good time.

yes very beautiful, laid back and quiet. Not crowded and they have chairs and umbrellas
-
You can go there yourselves

The bobsled is a great tour, you can control how fast or slower you want to go. You go on a ski lift up the mountain then you do the bobsled, it's only one ride but you can pay for more. You can check out the blue hole falls its less of a climb than the dunns falls.

Haven't done this, sorry.

Just seeing your post, will try to help as best I can.
Depending on where you are traveling from the ride can be pretty long or relatively short, we didn't do a shared bus tour for this. After coming off the main you travel up a lesser built road way, (unpaved and surrounded by trees and grass lands). The closer you get, the roads get narrower and can really only accommodate one vehicle. Depending on how well your driver drives will determine whether or not you get motion sickness, our driver drove much slower on the bumpier sections so the ride didn't become uncomfortable. The scenery was beautiful and the air very cool and fresh. Was the tour worth it - If you are a Bob Marley Fan and like the not so touristy type of tours, if you like native tours, or like seeing the real Jamaica Yes it is. Other wise you can look up other tours that may be of more interest to you.
Good luck... -
no never heard of it.

We have done the blue hole falls and enjoyed it, there are plenty of beaches in ocho rios also, very clean and the water is very clear. Highly recommend globe trotter adventure tours, you can email them to get details on the tours you want.

thank you this is really helpful

Yes I have.

I personally haven't done the catamarans in montego bay but heard others say they are enjoyable, you will find ocho rios has alot more tours than Montego Bay, I say do a catamaran then relax on a beach. If you are arriving at the falmouth port, montego bay is not that far about 35 minutes, so it shouldnt be a long ride.
Blue Hole from Montego Bay

Given it is 2 hours there and back that's 4 hours leaving you with 5 hours to enjoy the day, I say that's plenty time. We have visited ocho Rios from Montego bay and made it back on-time with no problems. You can check out https://globetrotteradventuretours.com/, they are who we booked with.
